Papa won second place! I broke into tears when I signed in to my peakD account and I got tagged by the "motherhood" community saying that I won 2nd place as "Winner of #TheDadChallenge from last week"! Despite my best effort to stay on track the moment I was left alone in my classroom late afternoon, memories were pouring in. By far this was the hardest post I have ever written because I felt when I was composing the right words, my papa was reassuring me that he's at peace now and sharing this to the world will HELP a distress soul somehow.. we will never know that our writing can save in a way. I was reminded that life is indeed fleeting and we will never know our time so make most of it with our loved ones.
