I tried to avoid Father's day due to the demise of my papa last June 2 with which he doesn't even reach father's day celebration. I wasn't able to go home and attend the burial by flesh due to this pandemic! This is by far the hardest and the most painful experience of father's day I would always have. Even upon writing my whole being still consumed that my father's life was precious gift from God and seeing him merely online when he had his last breathe only to hear me saying, "It's okay papa, you won't suffer anymore. Grand papa Donis, love you!" Sage repetitive statement whenever were online to see how he was doing. My papa of all people UNDERSTOOD me for being stubborn and being obstinate. I am definitely his female version hence even if there were times that we won't agree on a certain concern, at the end of the day we would discuss things. Happy Father's Day in Heaven papa Adonis.
