Money is Behavioural! How we view it reflects how we spend it! As a first time mom, saving for Sage's Junior Life Policy mainly for his Higher Education at an early age gives me a feeling of #SECURITY despite uncertainties! I am excited whenever I set aside for his premium on a #MONTHLYBASIS so that when it's time to #Pay, it would be easier to count the money. Apart from his 12,435 SCR termly tuition fee at International School whereby a 37k SCR annual, this is my way of…

https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1119683575561677&id=748206030 I made it a point to teach Sage how to put his *coins* in his MONEY BANK! The idea is to let him practice how to save money so that if he wanted to buy things for himself, he knew where to get it from. We also open a bank account under his name for him to have a sense of accountability in the future when it comes to his expensese or financial aspect.
Sage is always my photobomber everywhere! We were at the shopping center in Victoria and the Slovak slogan caught my attention so I told Patrick to take a quick shot with me on it! ME ALONE! no passersby whatsover!😄 My baby loved pictures so he told his dad to include him as well! My point? When you have a baby, the world is not yours anymore! LMAO!🤦🏻♀️😄
I have been looking online for a tablet! when I travelled to Abu Dhabi last year, my baby had a new purchased tab but because he really doesn't understand the value of the item, he broke it in a span of two weeks! now he has to ask his daddy for his phone so he could watch his favourite cartoon on youtube! as a mom seeing this brought me into a great realization that as long as this time around, Sage will be able to take care of his gadgets, I won't mind buying again!…
The weather is not good here in Seychelles as it has been raining and it's chilly! My throat has been affected and I can hardly talk! The irony being a teacher since it's our weapon to work so I decided to go to the nearby clinic and the doctor has given me sick leave* plus these medications for a tiny fee of 25rupees! It was actually free before but now you have to pay if you're a working citizen yet Free if you're pregnant, free for babies and for senior citizens! I also…
My friends were just realistic, stating the fact that it's very rare to find what I was looking for in the middle of nowhere however my gut feeling, my instinct and by far my faith told me otherwise. Deep inside my heart, I knew that it was somewhere along the way. It was such a surreal feeling that I kept holding on to it. Despite my friends making fun of what I believed in, I simply told them, that I knew I would find it. It might not be there exactly at the place I…
Beach Day in Mahe on a Saturday! It's how we spent our Saturday after "playing" on the slides at the playground. Sage's hit himself while running around but he didn't cry at all and told me he's a big boy and big boys are superheroes! They don't cry! We told him that after the slides, we would have a lunch date at the beach where he's so excited to play sand castle. In his imagination, he's building a skyscraper. Although all those things were not feasible due to a lack of…
