Beach Day in Mahe on a Saturday! It's how we spent our Saturday after "playing" on the slides at the playground. Sage's hit himself while running around but he didn't cry at all and told me he's a big boy and big boys are superheroes! They don't cry! We told him that after the slides, we would have a lunch date at the beach where he's so excited to play sand castle. In his imagination, he's building a skyscraper. Although all those things were not feasible due to a lack of materials. We actually didn't plan to go to the beach it was an unplanned visit, yet we ended up hanging around for more than 8 hours! My point? despite our busy schedule at work we always make it a point to bring our baby out for his playtime. Seeing him running, sweating and even hitting himself on the slide made us more confident that he can deal with whatever obstacles he will meet along the way. Playtime is so precious for his age and the beachside became his happy place as well. Have I mentioned a long time back that Sage got so scared with the waves?
