Wao, so the hackers (actually it's a con artist) in my favorite writer's novels only accept payment in Bitcoin so nobody could trace it. Writer is probably promoting crypto adoption 🤣

Yes! I would agree! 😁 Basically all the recent hackers/criminals who got caught, got caught because their Bitcoin transactions got traced back.
ZEC does too, if you use a shielded (z) address, with one of the wallets that allows this (such as yWallet). There are a number of other privacy coins that offer this. I wrote a couple of posts on this on Pub0x a while ago.
