My wildlife photography: the jackdaw, Corvus monedula. These small members of the crow family are rather smart and inquisitive. Here, they were inspecting the construction outside Dubrovnik's old town. They were probably pleased with what they were seeing, given the amount of time they spent exploring all the crevices!

@Pardinus

My wildlife photography: the red legged partridge, Alectoris rufa. Seen these two roaming around the fields in Doñana National park, in southern Spain. According to our guide, when there are babies and the family goes together, it's usual for the male to go a few meters further than the rest of the pack, to attrack possible predators and keep the rest of the family safe. Brave guys!

@Pardinus

After a fre rainy days, finally the perfect conditions to get some salt water on the surfboards: clear sky... and perfect waves! This is one of the sought-after beaches near Lisboa, and today it was crowded!

@Pardinus

Another month begins... and another HPUD! For the ones not on Hive blockchain, it'a a day where it's usual to power up some of our liquid Hive, turning it into Hive Power, and increase our stake on the blockchain. I'm really close to my goal this year, and after today... a little bit closer! 8000 HP, here I go! Are you on Hive? And if you are... have you powered up today? ;)

@Pardinus

My wildlife photography: the european kingfisher, Alcedo atthis. It was the second time in my life where I saw one of these perched, and in a location I wasn't expecting: facing the sea! They normally hunt in freshwater, but apparently this one needed some salt in the diet. ;)

@Pardinus

Soooo close! Battled almost until last minute, but didn't make it to Champion III on this Splinterlands season. I was able to be just 48 points away, but two straight losses sealed the fate. Oh well, better luck next season... and on the next season rewards! 66 DIamond chests, and not even 1 epic card; a pack was the best I got! How did your season go?

@Pardinus

A couple of suggestions to the app: - A search button would come in handy! As well as a way to create a list of authors for ease of reading; it's not a problem when you're starting hare, but I'm guessing as time goes by (and hopefully followers rise), it starts being hard to track everything you want - Most of us here came from noise.cash. Given how all the "evolution" was handled in the old site, it would be great to have some type of "channel", or official account, to give the community some feedback about the project, or future plans. Just my two cents. ;)

@Pardinus

Well, one last post. With so many friends going to noise.app, decided to give it a try, although my expectations are wayyy down. But since everyone deserves a second chance... hope to be proven wrong! Seems dumb to erase all the work done here and start from zero given it's supposed to be the same platform but anyway, if you've migrated to noise.app... let me know! Find me at https://noise.app/Pardinus And here's an invite if you haven't already: https://noise.app/invite/1psfbxar

@Pardinus

Still getting the hang of this new noise; for the ones that already got everything figured... is there a way to see who follows you? :) Meanwhile, time to get back to a regular post! My wildlife photography: the iberian magpie, Cyanopica cooki. They were having a blast in Doñana natural park, in southern Spain. During the heat hours, a small pond was a perfect place to bathe, and the nearby pine trees the best spot to relax and dry those wet feathers.

@Pardinus

I was reaaaaally reluctant to check this app, after the way the devs allowed noise.cash to slowly die. Will this time be different? No idea yet, but seeing so many noise and hive friends join in, decided to give it a try. Already found out that we can't comment on anyone else's posts until we both follow each other so... who's out there? 😁

@Pardinus

Yep, I guess this is farewell. Motivation to stick around and see noise.cash slowly dying doesn't exist. It's a shame how such a good project ends this way; I wonder what it could have been with proper communication and a different approach from whoever is/was in charge. I'll probably take a sneak peak every now and then, maybe things change in the future! Definitely not gonna jump into an app clone version of whatever this is now. It was great meeting most of you, and you can always find me in that great decentralised blockchain where things keep happening and evolving: peakd.com/@pardinus. Here's one of my usual wildlife photographies: a mute swan, landing in the river that crosses a beautiful natural park in Croatia. He's landing... and I'm flying away! :) See you around!

@Pardinus

Best photo combinations for me are when I can get good landscapes and wildlife at the same time. As in this case, while visiting Krka natural park in Croatia, and a couple of grey herons decided to show up in the waterfalls!

@Pardinus

My wildlife photography: the gadwall, Mareca strepera. At first, I thought they were mallards in the summer plummage (eclipse). But the suble changes in colours and size point to gadwalls. They were having a blast, feeding in the shallow and fast waters in a natural park in Croatia.

@Pardinus

Amsterdam is a fabulous city, and near the golden hour it looks even better; especially if you're nearby the river, and some of the light reflects in the calm waters.

@Pardinus

Been a while since I've posted here; given how the platform is doing, you can guess the motivation is not that big. Oh well, maybe we'll see some developments in the future. Or even better, propper information about migrating to an app, and knowing what exactly are we getting into! :) Here's a photo hoping for the best. Rainbow is a sign of hope!

@Pardinus

Farewell Croatia, it was a pleasure! The cities, the nature, the food, everything was amazing. Hope to visit again soon!

@Pardinus

And the prize for the most secure wifi password goes to.... 😁😁😁

@Pardinus

Next stop:Dubrovnik! And this city looks something from a movie. I can see why GOT was partially filmed here; the walls, narrow streets, the clear sea: stunning!

@Pardinus

Croatia is definitely an awesome country. And yesterday, scratched a place from my bucket list. I was trying to keep my expectations down before I visited Plitvice... but they were exceded. A must visit for any nature fan!

@Pardinus

So I've been hearing more and more about this noise.app, and... I don't get it. This platform is slowly dying, no word from and dev for months. And now an app appears to an "exclusive" special network and everyone seems excited for something without any kind of info whatsoever about what it is, how it works... what am I missing here?

@Pardinus

Been a while since I have done it... but knowing it will put a smile on someone's face is such a good feeling. Who else still sends postcards? 😉

@Pardinus

First stop, Split! The old part of the city is amazing, with Diocletian's palace making you go back in time. Narrow streets and middle age vibe! And after exploring the old town, the city beaches are just a few walking minutes away, with crystal clear water.

@Pardinus

It had been a while. Too long, actually. But today, my passport had a new stamp! Time to explore beautiful Croatia!

@Pardinus

Connecting with nature by day... and party by night! The village party is a festival of lights and music, perfect for lifting the spirits... and drinks as well!

@Pardinus

A few more hidden gems. Or maybe not so hidden anymore, since more and more people start visiting them. Given how awesome they look, and seeing how fast info spreads these days, it's not a surprise. Still, there are no crowds and we can still enjoy nature in tranquillity!

@Pardinus

Been exploring my surroundings a little more, and although I spent countless vacations here, it was the first time visting these natural pools. Will probably visit more of them in a near future!

@Pardinus

And so it begins. After a few hard weeks... holidays are finally here! Time to get in touch with nature, visit mountain rivers, and dive in cold water!

@Pardinus

Every now and then, I decide to try my luck in Rising Star game, and buy the 12 packs for 100k starbits. And this time... I'm glad I did! Two new epic cards and a buttload of fans and skill!

@Pardinus

My wildife photography: the malabar pied hornbill. This is one of the two hornbill species we can find in Sri Lanka. I LOVE hornbills! Their big size and strange beaks make them a stunning species to admire; and this tree was full of them!

@Pardinus

Since Splinterland battles changes from DEC to SPS on the daily rewards, I still haven't had luck with the damn chests. But today, with 35 SPS and 2 packs, that changed! And another summoner and an epic were inside, I couldn't resist opening them.
