Daily wildlife photography: the cattle egret, Bubulcus ibis. Cattle egrets are commonly found near... yes, you guessed: cattle! They feed on insects, so being close to cattle is a win win situation, since they probably get more access to food, and the cattle gets rid of some bugs. The yellow tones of the plummage and the orange beaks are more pronounced during reproduction season.

I haven't seen before such kind of bird! :) I have to start watching again my favorite documentaries to learn more about animals on Earth :)
