One of the objectives of my vacations was to visit a few birdwatching stops, and hopefully get decent photos of a few species that usually roam on those areas. For the ones following this account for a longer time, you remember my wildlife photography posts... and these are the photos that fuel them! And since I'm back to my computer, time to keep them coming again! Daily wildlife photography: the little egret, Egretta garzetta. This was one of the first species I saw in these vacations. Their plummage is even more beautiful in breeding season, when those two long feathers in the head appear; the last photo is where they are more apparent. Note that their feet are yellow, they don't appear that way because of the mud. Photos taken in Tavira, Portugal.
