Daily wildlife photography: the yellow-legged gull, Larus michahellis. This is one of the most common seagulls in Portugal, and takes four years for the juveniles to reach adult plummage. Different seagulls have different timings for reaching the adult colours, being 4 years the maximum time. These photos were taken in a portuguese island, and I'm hopefully visiting a few more nearby islands in a very short time. Wanna guess where it is? ;)
