My wildlife photography: the great cormorant, Phalacrocorax carbo. These fellows are very easy to identify, given their size and black plummage, and also due to the fact that they tend to perch with their wings wide open, in order to help with the feathers drying. I haven't captured that typical pose here, but one of them was busy taking care of its plummage. They tend to be near bodies of water, and don't seem particulary shy around people; all the models in these photos were just a few meters away from lake Como's margins.
