Daily wildlife photography: the mallard, Anas platyrhynchos. We can find them in urban parks with a pond just as easy we can find them in the wild. Males are a lot more colourful than females, but females also have that bright blue patch in their wings, so they're easy to identify. Found this male preening near a lake in the middle of Reykjavik, Iceland.
