Why you must read this....
I will start by jumping straight in, so you see the title and now wondering to yourself, Whats this all about? well let me explain..
during the pandemic many have suffered, some have lost love ones or been ill themselves and some people have just struggled with the feeling of being locked in and lonely. Well I am here to share with you some tips and tricks on coping..
****Tip 1**** - Nature, spending time in nature or around nature can have a massive impact on the human body and mind.
Not only is it peaceful but its something the human body and mind actually needs. I like to take my shoes off and do what's called earthing. Your body is one big energy field and needs to be grounded by earths aka Gaias magnetic field, this technic has been proven by science by has been around for centuries. looking back at some cultures this is something they practice as part of everyday life, without going to much in to that scientist have proven that it has a real positive impact on the human body.
here's a link that will help to explain Earthing https://www.groundology.co.uk/about-grounding
Also lets not forget the fresh air nature provides, trees are earths oxygen providers and being around them provides you with clear fresh oxygen.
we also have the sounds of nature, if you can sit and relax somewhere and simply close your eyes you will hear so much and all sounds in nature are harmonious.
****Tip 2**** - Meditation, now many people struggle with meditation but even the beginners can achieve some positive effects from meditation, if you are a beginner here is a link to a site that can help https://www.mindful.org/how-to-meditate/ or just use the search engine to find more lots of information about mediation and how to achieve it. You can also find audio books on Amazon if you prefer. One thing I have learnt with meditation is to allow you thoughts to flow, this will really help you to gain a better mediation experience.
****Tip 3**** - Hobbies, now this can be anything you enjoy like painting or photography; as long as it brings you joy its not something you have to have skills to do, no photographer is perfect when then first start it takes practice and time. I have heard so many people say I love to draw but I am no good at it! you don't have to be as long as it gives you joy and happiness who cares, finding a hobby isn't always easy when you are feeling stressed or low so I would suggest starting to experiment with simple things like reading a book or swimming etc; before long you'll find you passion and who knows you may even discover some things about yourself along the way and enjoy the journey. My hobby is photography which I wasn't great at to start with but with patience and practice I believe from my feedback that I am now pretty good. Here is a link with some information on hobbies https://skillscouter.com/popular-common-hobbies/
Tip 4 - Self-care, this I consider one of the most important! take a shower, go for a walk, call a friend or a family member, take sometime out, listen to some music.. whatever it is you choose to do make sure its something for YOU! for YOURSELF! this time is important, especially because most of use tend to do things to make others happy forgetting about ourselves. How can you be any help to anyone if you are not being your best self, the only way to do this is by making sure you indulge in some self-care! YOU are important to! remember at the beginning I mentioned about our energy field, well if you want to make a difference to the world ensure you energy field is vibrating at a high frequency full of positivity as you energy field effects anyone that enters it so if its high then that effect will be felt by anyone close to you, this is turn will help to heighten their energy field. If we all did this then the world would be a far better place.. invisible forces are always at work!
Tip 5 - Friends and Family, I have mentioned these in all my tips but my last one is to explain how important it is to ensure you choose who you spend your precious time with, I've explained the effects of your energy field well others can effect you all the same so be careful not to allow negative energy in to your life, some people can be toxic to be around! some of these people can also be family, its ok! you should never feel bad about cutting negative and toxic people from your life, related or not! you have a duty to yourself and choosing who you spend your time with can be a big game changer. I have family that have a real negative effect on my life so I choose not to spend any time on them. this can be hard but trust me its important, make real connections that have a positive effect on your life and bring out the best you.
Thank you for taking the time to read my article, I hope in some way I can help people its needed more now then ever! please feel free to leave me any feedback or questions in the comments.

Time is not a healer you are..
I am sure you’ve heard the saying a thousand times “time is a healer” this saying is so far from the truth it’s unreal, now if you sit around believe that if you just leave it to time then you’ll never heal. Why? I hear you saying, well here is why..
Times isn’t what heals us, we heal us! It can always takes time but it’s not time itself we heal from. you have to work hard at it, you have to want it!
The first thing that needs to be done is to assess what it is your healing from, a passing of a loved one, a hurtful childhood these things need to be worked out carefully. Once this is done you can then work on step two..
How we heal, it’s often said we need to hit things head on! Well in this occasion that won’t work, you’ll just end up causing yourself a breakdown with overloaded emotion. What we need to do is almost to side ways on it, stop ignoring it, let it have its time. Now when I say let it have its time I mean we can’t heal from something we haven’t allowed be emotional about; we have emotions for a reason, you if hold back on your emotions you’re just going yo cause a ticking time bomb…
Step three! Cry, shout, scream, go a beat up the punch bag in the gym but always do this in a controlled environment, once you’ve exhausted yourself with emotion this is where the brain kicks in and starts to heal.. this is the way we are build and skipping any step will just be prolonged pain.
Now your brain starts to healing process we need to help it along the way, so we need to take time out to be grateful for all that we have, to list the positives in life! And even when you think there isn’t any positives just think about the fact you woke up today when many won’t, doing good is one of the best ways to help your soul heal.
Think back to something you did for someone, remember how it made you feel.. it’s was kind of nice right! Well here’s some news for you, a nice act can make you feel worthy, happy.. it gives you a warm feeling inside and this can be used to help you heal.
Becoming open with friends and family is a must, this not only avoids misunderstandings and further hurt it also provides you with the best support network ever! Your people are the ones that know you best and know how you work..
now the last part is patience and time, Rome wasn’t build in a day and if you wake up tomorrow and manage just one task on this list you’re already on your way to a better you..
Thank you for taking the time to read this article and if you have any questions I am happy to answer them in the comments below :) stay safe and be happy 😊

Introduction to Me Pandora aka Charlie
I am a Mother of 4, my eldest is 18yrs old and my youngest is 18 mths old and I have to say they are all one of my great achievements in life.
in my younger life I often had issues which indicated that I was suffering from form of PTSD, I faced a lot of challenges during my early life which lead to me being diagnosed with a life long mental illness of Bipolar 2 at the age of 17yrs old, I then set about a new challenge of learning to cope with this illness as take medication to keep me stable.
At 20yrs old I gave birth to my first child on 20th May 2003, I instantly fell in love with my son Reece, finally someone I could love unconditionally and would love me unconditionally. Becoming a Mum was amazing but having a very unsupportive partner made my life hard, I worked full time and after 7 weeks after Reece was born I had to return to work, one of my biggest mistakes, this would be the first time in a long time I became unstable.
One of the issues with bipolar is if you start to stable you tend to think medication is needed anyone, this is so wrong because you will feel fantastic for a while and then comes the fall, I wouldn't ever wish this on my worst enemy.
so after getting some medical attention I was then placed back on medication, it took me a little longer to become stable due to hormones.
At 23yrs old I then had my second son Max born on 29th August 2006, he arrived 3 weeks and 5 days early and weighted a whopping 8Lb 3oz, it was amazing Labour and very calming with me and my Mum. with Max I decided I would take some time out so I took 6 months off to be with my son, this helped me bond and my mental health.
I worked within the insurance industry at this point, I had worked hard and was working for a company that put extreme pressure on me, I needed a change in career this was when I spotted a advert for a job at our local doctors surgery. Best move I made as I started as a receptionist when one of the GP's asked me why I didn't train to be a nurse, I believe he thought was rather helpful with the patients and had a hunger for knowledge surrounding my job, so I started the ball rolling.
I started out as a healthcare assistant and did all my training hands on within the surgery or local hospital, I found I loved my choice. At the age of 26yrs old I fell pregnant with my Daughter, now this wasn't planned so came as a shock however I gave birth to my 3rd child on the 25th August 2009 to a beautiful baby girl.
I continued my career in a medical setting but then decided to work with children and adults of disabilities, this was one of the challenges I found most rewarding. however during this time I was headhunted for a job within a nursing home. in 2016 I decided to take this position and during this time I was suffering with relationship issues with my children father.
The father of my children wasn't he nicest of people, he was extremely controlling and abusive, in the early part of 2018 I managed to gain the courage to ask him to leave however he wouldn't leave, for the next 3 months I slept separate from him but he continued to act like we was together even if I told him we wasn't.
In May 2018 I managed to remove my ex partner from my house, this Is when another big change in my life happened and I was silly enough to think I could cope without my medication, he was a vile human being and went as far as to tell complete fabricated lies about me all over social media, this was when I regained my power I didn't feel the need to reply to any of this or set anyone right because why should I these people didn't matter to me, so I went about being a full time single Mum.
in June 2018 was a month that I met the most perfect human being, I met Carl Aka Panky on a mobile game of all places lol, it felt amazing that this 28Yr old man was interested In me, I struggled to understand but I went with it.
Carl lived hundreds of miles away so he took the long journey on the train to come and meet me, I was super excited my children was staying with family so I knew it would be just me and him, I waited on that platform like a 16yr old all excited. Carls train pulled In and among all the commuters I spotted him coming towards me, it was definitely love at first sight all though I would have told you that sort of thing was nonsense before hand.
first year of mine and Carls relationship he was still serving in the army so we would only see each other at weekends, with weeks apart. 9 months in to our relationship I found out I was pregnant, now this wasn't planned and so early in a relationship was not good also the fact carl really was interested In having children however we spoke in-depth and decided we would continue the pregnancy.
6th December at 10:50pm after a really horrible labour Emilia was born weighing 7LB 14.5oz and she made her entrance screaming, I think she was comfortable in my tummy lol, a month after Emilia was born we started to hear about Covid~19 and within months we was in insolation, this turned out to be a blessing for Carl who works in London he would get to spend time with his daughter and the bond they've made is amazing, I absolutely love watching them together its heart warming and most of you have followed Emilia grow up on social media, she has a massive fan base.
its now 2021 and Emilia is 18 months old and makes our lives so much better, she is such a funny, kind and happy baby and her and Carl are a right double act, his an amazing Dad to Emilia and and awesome step dad to the 3 older children, we take each day by day and are due to have our restrictions lifted in the UK on Monday so I suppose you could say we are heading for some form of normality if there is such a thing....
so that's me in a nutshell :)
