The Water is Shut Off Again I woke up grumpy again this morning, (normal occurrence for me). My older son and I froze most of the night because my wife insists on cranking the A/C down to 20 degrees, (yes, it costs a small fortune in electricity to do that!), I am running out of the blood pressure medicine I need to keep my old, fat body alive and none of the pharmacies around here have the drug I need, and I wanted to wash up a bit and make my stinky body a little less stinky, and I was just told the water is not working, again. We've been spoiled, I suppose, because we've had consistent running water for several weeks now. A stoppage was overdue. We do have a water tank out back, and, miraculously, there is water in it, but as there are now 10 people living in this house, (TEN!!), that water won't last long. We'll have to go buy water and lug heavy containers of it into the house. Maybe the power will go out and a prolonged torrential downpour will flood our house? Then today could be declared a trifecta of living in paradise: no water, no electricity, and no dry shelter. But at least my wife wouldn't be able to freeze us with that stupid A/C! #MyLife
