Thank God For Noise.Cash And Coins.PH We are living on my retirement pension. Near the end of every month I get a glob of money deposited into one of my bank accounts back in the USA. This glob is large enough that we should be able to comfortably live on it, except for the fact that I have to siphon off about half of it to pay off the truck we bought earlier this spring. (The remaining loan money is on credit cards, which have insanely high interest rates.) So I give my wife a little more than half of my monthly pension amount to pay our monthly living expenses. The problem, as you would guess, is that EVERY SINGLE FRIGGIN' MONTH she seems to run out of money before the end of the month! Now because of the way the stupid banksters work, I can't get instant access to MY MONEY sitting in MY ACCOUNT. The transfer process from my USA account to my wife's Philippine account takes several days. (WHY??) And this is assuming the transfer even works at all. I've been using WISE.COM for the last several months, and so far they have been reliable. But my experiences with PayPal and Western Union have been much less than satisfactory. (E.g., waiting for a transfer to go through, only to have it cancelled for "business reasons", whatever the heck that is!) So here we are at the end of the month again, and as expected my wife is out of money, and there are bills to be paid. I set some money aside for problems like this, but in this case it won't quite be enough. We're short about 4,000 Philippine Pesos. This is where Noise.Cash and Coins.PH come to the rescue! If I were to completely cash out my Coins.PH account, I would get a little over 5,000 P Pesos. Hooray! Problem solved! Now I do NOT want to give you the crazy idea that you can earn 5,000 P Pesos a month here on Noise.Cash. There may be some folks that do that, or even earn a bit more, but my earnings here are much more modest. What I have been doing is accumulating my Noise.Cash tips into my Coins.PH account. Added to other money I had already invested there, it adds up to a nice amount. Banks can be difficult to deal with. Using a Coins.PH account, we can give ourselves alternatives for getting cash when the banksters are being uncooperative.

I never would have imagined getting access to your own money would be so difficult over there. I know when I vacationed in Mexico, I used my debit card to withdraw Mexican pesos out of an ATM and it was instant. I would imagine if I were using my bill pay feature it would work seamlessly as well. But I have no idea since any transaction is made in the US to a US entity. Not sure how that would work if I lived in the Philippines and was trying to pay bills from my account to Philippine recipients. Hope you find a good work around. And STOP giving your wife money! lol

Great, make ME the guinea pig! For the foreseeable future, the money will continue to flow from me to my wife.
Can I just go with, it's a dirty job, but somebody has to do it? Good call on the latter.

Haha, yes and thats what im doing too with my partner, because we often encounter budget overruns too;)
