So You Want To Mine Crypto? If you have your heart set on being a crypto miner, Naomi Brockwell put up a new video on YouTube called, "Getting Starting with Crypto Mining", https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BoArRNFiSlw&t=118s . (Yes, she used the word "starting", not "started".) It covers the basics, and will just get you started. There is a LOT to learn to becoming a successful crypto miner. If you watch this video and decide crypto mining is something you'd like to investigate further, then head over to the VoskCoin channel, ( https://www.youtube.com/c/VoskCoin/videos ), and watch some of his mining rig review videos. For example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTZcX88gopA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SzN2j1icNWs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=embznE55TBQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_6vsfB4seA Now a disclaimer: I personally am NOT mining crypto at the present, because where I live now, (the Philippines), electricity is ridiculously expensive, and unreliable. But if it looks like a good fit for you, do your research first.

Fix up a pedal bike to a dynamo to generate free electricity and store in a battery. The only downside is you won't be a fat old bastard anymore.
What? And lose my trademark body shape? What an outlandish suggestion! :-) Besides, just how much electricity would a leisurely 10 minute ride produce? (You can't possibly expect me to pedal longer than that, can you?)
I reckon about 1 Satoshi :) Do you generate your own power over there or is it all on grid?
It's on grid, when it is "on"!
Oh I see, you would think there would be an off grid industry to fill the gap.
Or the electric company could improve their service? Man, you ought to see the wiring around here. Yikes! I don't know how the guys work on it without getting electrocuted.
