Handheld Internet Devices: Good or Bad? I was having a "discussion" with another user on noise.cash, ( https://noise.cash/u/AnnieMarie ), about smartphones and other such internet friendly devices, and we wondered whether these things were a benefit to our lives, or a detriment. Now before y'all call me a luddite who is too old to appreciate the newest technology, take a look at the attached pic. That is my wife and two sons first thing in the morning. All three are already immersed in online activities. The younger son and my wife, while probably spending too much time online, are able to break free from time to time and interact with friends and family. My older son, on the other hand, is an absolute iPad addict! It seems the only time his face isn't glued to that stupid device is when he is eating, or we have hollered at him to stop and come with us somewhere. What about me, you ask? Umm ..... okay, I'll admit I'm probably the worst of the group. I spend way too much time either here on noise.cash, or puttering away at crypto faucets. If I'm not doing one of those two things, then I'm most likely watching a YouTube or Bitchute video. How bad is my internet "addiction"? Well, would you believe I have managed to hurt my back from spending so much time sitting in a chair while typing? Sad but true! My back hurts even now, as I type this, but do I stop, turn off the computer, and do something else for a while. HELL NO! I'll keep typing away at this keyboard until they pry it out of my cold, dead fingers! Meanwhile, back in more "sane" environments, how are y'all managing to balance your time spent online with other, healthier activities? Do you still recognize your family members? :-) #MyLife
