Beware of GEMINI Exchange!! Not your keys; not your crypto. I've been using the Gemini exchange for several years, and have kinda liked them, particularly their "earn" feature. Well, until today, 04/Oct/2022, that is. They just completely, with no warning or explanation, FROZE my account, and when I reach out to their support, I am asked to submit some ridiculous photo, (selfie + original ID + note with handwritten date), to prove .... well, I haven't a clue what they are trying to prove. Maybe that it is time I stop using them? Attached is a portion of the email support sent me telling me what I needed to do to get my account unfrozen. I submitted the photo, and as expected, they rejected it, saying that, "After reviewing the photo uploaded, the quality of the picture does not allow for the details of your ID to be legible." So I sent two more photos. We'll see if either of those meets their criteria. In the meantime, I can't even close my account, as I have no way to access my funds! When folks tell you to beware of these centralized exchanges, THEY ARE NOT KIDDING! Leaving your crypto on a centralized exchange is just a disaster waiting to happen.

I lost a chunk to Coinflex. I have gone full retro now. I buy and sell crypto face to face with Local Crypto traders and then buy stuff for resale on Purse.io and sell locally.
Hey, that purse.io looks very interesting. Have you had any problems using it?
This is awesome. I assume this would also be completely privacy protected
I deal face to face so there is no privacy there but these are people I know.
I think that's better than your bank
Sorry to hear this. I hope they get their sh.t together and solve this asap. CoinFlex scammed me out of my funds too. Btw, aren't you on the noise.app yet? I searched for your name didn't find
I never heard of noise.app before.
It's the new version of this site. It's more like an actual app. And resembles other social media platforms. Many users here are already in there too
