God Works In Wondrous Ways! About a month ago I sunk some money into six different DeFi projects, hoping that at least one would pan out and I would "strike it rich". These six projects were: 1. Baked Beans 2. Turd Burglar 3. Cryptos OTC 4. MetaFiYielders 5. Swapnex 6. Thor Wallet Now to be honest, Turd Burglar was just a satirical site created by Justin Pratt, ( https://www.youtube.com/c/JustinPratt1/videos ), so I put money into it just to help him out, not expecting much, if any, return from it. But from the other five I hoped that at least one would pay out, particularly as various YouTubers were posting triumphant videos of how much loot they were raking in from each of them. How has this worked out for me? Baked Beans. Despite putting twice as much money into it as Turd Burglar, it has done a little worse than the site created to mock it. Phooey! Cryptos OTC. This site appears to be pulling a soft, gradual rug pull, as whenever you request a withdrawal, you never receive the confirmation SMS. (Shaky, huh?) But all other functions on the site appear to be working. MetaFiYielders. These dorks pulled a hard rug pull, as their site no longer works, at least for me. Swapnex. Another set of dorks, another hard rug pull. Their website, https://swapnex.io/ , now redirects to https://cotps.net/#/ . WTF?? Thor Wallet. Despite being recommended by several YouTubers I respect, I have lost about half of the money I put into this stupid app, despite assurances that you will "never lose money" using it. So what can we learn from this painful lesson? 1. NEVER trust what you read or hear from random sources on the internet. (That would include me!) If you can't verify something in "real life", then you have to assume that you may be basing your actions on at best faulty info, and at worst outright lies. 2. God is really great! I've been working away on these sites, (mostly COTPS), for over a month now, hoping to get a nice payout which I could then show to y'all as PROOF that these sites pay out. Can you imagine if I had joined COTPS a few months earlier, generated some nice profits, and then wrote a post about it? I know some of y'all are hurting for money, so I would have strongly encouraged you to join what turned out to be just another Ponzi scheme. That would have been disastrous! I don't like government and I hate regulations, but like it or not regulations are coming to the crypto world largely because of the actions of stupid shit heads that run scam sites like these. And if you think what happened to me is bad, (I only gambled with money I was willing to lose), consider the massive train wreck that is the Luna/UST meltdown. By the way ...... there are rumors that Do Kwon, (aka Kwon Do-hyeong), knew all along that Luna was a Ponzi scheme, and just pulled off the biggest crypto rug pull of all time. But that topic deserves its own post.
