Hacking A Hardware Wallet I recently came across this YouTube video where a "professional hacker" was hired to break into a Trezor hardware wallet whose owner had forgotten its pin number. It's an interesting watch, at least if you're kinda geeky like me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dT9y-KQbqi4 I probably only understood about 25% of what was going on here, but it's fascinating none-the-less to see how hackers work, and how any electronic system is ultimately vulnerable to the laws of physics. Kudos to Trezor for publishing known security vulnerabilities with their devices on their website. It's easier to mitigate a known problem than an unknown one! Please remember to backup your passwords/pin numbers in a secure manner! Had that been done in this case, much time and effort could have been spared. But then we wouldn't have had this cool video to watch!

Wasn't that just cool to watch? It's always fun to watch really smart people do complicated stuff, and try to explain what they are doing while doing it.
I loved it, I even ran it a second time while working and I even understood a bit more that time....

My family is fine, and I am not dead yet. :-) How are things in Greece? Does it get real cold, (below zero), where you live? It's been drier here in the Philippines recently, so it's felt a lot hotter, because the sunshine isn't obstructed by clouds. Every day it gets up to about 32 - 34, which gets quite warm if you're out moving around.
In the area I live in, we had -2 the most. In Northern Greece, we have colder temperatures. I'm waiting for the spring :)
-2 is plenty cold! Anything below 15, at least during the day, is kinda icky, and anything below 10 is too cold.
In fact, I did not fully understand this post. I really dislike hackers. I like those who are hacked. Stay well always stay healthy.
Oh I hate hackers too! Which is why I wish that guy wouldn't refer to what he was doing as "hacking". Yes, it is attempting to override the hardware wallet's security, but it is for a good purpose, (the owner forgot the pin), not something malicious.
