Atomic Wallet And BCH Don't Play Well Together? **** EDIT: The recovery process described at https://noise.cash/post/lv2898ww works wonderfully! **** Since I've been on noise.cash, I've been sending my bits and pieces of BCH earned here to my Atomic Wallet. To date, I've managed to accumulate a nice amount, about $90 USD worth of BCH. Rather than have that $90 just sitting idle in my wallet, I decided to put it to use. Atomic Wallet supports staking for several tokens, so it made sense to exchange some of my BCH for ADA or ATOM to earn a little interest. Unfortunately, as you can see in the attached image, I was unable to exchange my BCH for another coin. I am also unable to send any of my BCH to another wallet. Phooey! I contacted the support for Atomic Wallet, and surprisingly they got back to me right away. Unsurprisingly, they suggested the "usual" fixes: download latest version, refresh my wallets, turn off and turn back on my VPN, etc. I did all they suggested, multiple times, even turning off my PC. Nothing worked. Yet, as you can also see in the pic, I can exchange BTC for other coins with no problem. ("Awaiting Deposit" is a cryptic message meaning the exchange failed.) I replied back to Atomic Wallet support, and am waiting for their next answer. Ordinarily I would be pissed off at Atomic Wallet, and write a blistering post describing how shitty that wallet is, but ....... I remember the fiasco I had with BCH SLP tokens using mint.bitcoin.com, and it makes me wonder. This won't be a popular thought, but what if BCH is actually the problem? Besides the mint.bitcoin.com mess, BCH has the address confusion problem. Should a BCH address have the "bitcoincash:" prefix or not? Is BCH becoming like Windows used to be, adding features rather than improving the stability of core functionality? Fortunately my funds are on the blockchain, as I can view them here: https://www.blockchain.com/en/bch/address/qz5t ....{my public key}....gwuq . So maybe the problem really is Atomic Wallet after all? Obviously I immediately switched payout wallets here on noise.cash once I realized Atomic Wallet was choking on my BCH. I am now sending my BCH payments to my coins.ph wallet. Hopefully I will be able to access them once they arrive there. Has anyone else had trouble accessing their BCH payments they received from noise.cash? Has anyone else used Atomic Wallet to receive noise.cash payments? If so, are you able to access your coins? $90 USD isn't going to make or break me, but losing it sure would be irritating!
