A Bored Ape NFT Conspiracy? I've never been a fan of art NFTs, particularly the ones that fetch a hefty price tag for a simple cartoon image. WHY people would pay the money they do for such a dopey thing has bewildered me. What is it about these NFTs that am I missing? A video has recently been released on YouTube that suggests the reason for high price of the Bored Ape NFTs may be that hidden messages are being passed back and forth via these simple images. Do I believe that there is a connection between the Bored Ape Yacht Club and clandestine Neo-Nazi organizations? Probably not, but then stranger things have recently happened. If four years ago you would have told me that nearly the entire world will soon be placed under a lockdown, with enforced vaccine mandates, to fight a disease that escaped from a lab, I would have told you that you've been watching too many movies. Likewise, if you had said that a leading superpower's citizens will chose an old man with the obvious beginnings of dementia to be their leader, I would have laughed in your face. On the other hand, some of the "Bad Girl" NFTs ( https://badgirls.app/ ) could have potential! :-)
