Five Nights At Freddy's Lore, Part 1 This post is a joint effort between me and my older son. He wants to post something about the atrocious computer game "Five Nights At Freddy's", which I abhor! Following is the fictional account of how the events in FNAF came to pass. In the 1970s two men named William Afton and Henry Emily created the restaurant called, "Fred Bear's Family Diner". This restaurant is basically a knock-off of Chuck E. Cheese, if you're familiar with that place. In other words, it's filled with animatronic characters that entertain the diners. During a party at this diner, Henry's daughter Charlotte gets killed by William Afton ---- oh good grief! Do we really have to go through this gruesome narrative? "Yes!", says my son. Apparently no one knows that William is Charlotte's murderer. (To be fair, we don't know what Henry's reaction to his daughter being killed is. Strange fellows, William and Henry!) Then a security puppet merges with Charlotte's soul, after which Henry and William sell their animatronic puppets to Fazbear Entertainment Corporation, whatever the heck that is. There is now a Fred Bear TV show and plush puppets. Watch out Beanie Babies, you've got competition now! William has three kids. We don't know the youngest one's name; he is called "the Crying Child". The Crying Child is scared of the animatronics, so his older brother, Michael Afton, dressed up as an animatronic to scare him. The Crying Child has his birthday party at Fred Bear's Family Diner, where Michael decides to torment him by putting his head in an animatronic's mouth. Unfortunately the animatronic is a "spring lock", (why not, huh?), and, triggered by the child's tears, it snaps shut and kills him. Because of this tragedy, Fred Bear's Family Diner is closed down. At this point, part 1 mercifully comes to a close! My kid plays this stupid game, and even watches YouTube videos extrapolating about the background events leading up to all this mess. What is wrong with kids these days? The first pic is of my older kid standing in the cold, cold water of a nearby "spa". It's a "good" pic because he is NOT holding an iPad!
