"While we are YOUNG"
Last year I was invited to a professor daughter's wedding. Everything was going well and rossy.
You can imagine the cream of the society seated; Professors, Doctors, Businessmen and women, high ranking Government officials etc. Men and women who seemed to have made their mark in the world.
When it get to the sermon period and the young pastor was talking about the word of Life to the young couple, who were just starting their journey into marriage, he talked about the principle of how God designed the home to work. As he was talking about how God enabled him to bring out the message with clear instructions and illustrations.
He said God also permitted him to share living testimonies of how the principles have worked both in his personal experience and in several homes that he has been privileged to watch over.
To cut the story short, in a nutshell,
After the service, two people went to him to him while I was still sitting there thinking about what he has said throughout the service because it really got to me. So has I was saying the two men approached him. The first man, quite elderly, and looked at him, adjusted his spectacles and said to the young pastor....
`"Young man I wish I met you in 1950. If I had met you forty-two years ago and heard what you are preaching now, I would not have been what I am today. What can I do now? I have spoilt my life, I have wasted my marriage, and I don't even know where to begin again. I wish I had met you then."`
`"Where were you, when I just married?"`***_he added rhetorically.***
The pastor did not answer, and I was just still sitting there lost in my thoughts and at the same time still conscious enough to hear the echoing conversation of the pastor and these men.
As I was saying before I interrupted myself with my own thoughts, the pastor could not answer, I saw soberness all over him, he knew the man was expecting an answer from him as I was unfocussedly expecting his reply too. He just stood there looking at the old man shedding tears, with his visible facial expression of wishful thought probably wishing he had met him earlier then.
The second person was the wife of one of the University professors. She walked up to him, looked at him with eyes full of regret and said....
`"Well, I thank you for all you have said. For me it is too late but I am going to buy the tapes for my daughter so that she will not go the way I went."`
All through that day, I could not get their words out of my mind. So, a man can hear the word of God too late! So, wrong choices made early in life may never be correctable again later on in life!
So has I was lost in my thoughts combined with the conversations of the young pastor and the two people that approached him, I suddenly realized the great privilege of being young. I realized the prime value of being a youth. It became clear that there are things that must happen to me as a youth if I will not live my adult year in regret.
All in a nutshell, the message I'm trying to pass across is that there are some things, actions and happenings that can't be corrected later on in life, so the things we are supposed to do now when we are still young, when we are still in our youthful period, we should do it now! We should not proacastinate, everything we need to do while we are still young should be done now! Because later might be too late for us and to avoid much regret in future we should start getting all of those things done now even when we feel exhausted, tired, sad and frustrated, we should never allow anything stop us✊

New study to trial as nasal drops for COVID-19 loss of smell
**"Report article:**

New study to trial nasal drops for COVID-19 loss of smell
The study will begin recruiting participants in December.
COVID-19 used to illustrate the story.
A new study is considering treating those who have lost their sense of smell after having COVID-19 with vitamin A nasal drops, the University of East Anglia (UEA) said.
“The 12-week Apollo trial will treat people who have experienced a loss of smell or an altered sense of smell as a result of viral infections with nasal drops containing the vitamin,” the university said in a statement on Wednesday.
The university said research from Germany has shown the potential benefit of the vitamin.
It said its team would explore how this treatment works to help repair tissues in the nose damaged by viruses.
“The researchers hope the study could one day help improve the lives of millions around the world who suffer from loss of smell, by returning their fifth sense.
“It came after a study by an international group of smell experts, published in the journal International Forum of Allergy & Rhinology in April.
“It advised against using steroids to treat loss of smell and instead suggested “smell training,” it said.
Carl Philpott, from UEA’s Norwich Medical School and one of the researchers, said there was very little evidence that steroids will help with loss of smell.
He noted that steroids have potential side effects including fluid retention, high blood pressure and problems with mood swings and behaviour.
He recommended those who have experienced a loss of smell sniff at least four different odours, twice daily for several months.
Mr Philpott said the method aims to help recovery based on neuroplasticity, the brain’s ability to reorganise itself to compensate for a change or injury.
“Those interested in participating in the university’s vitamin A study are asked to seek a referral from their general practitioner to the Smell and Taste Clinic at the James Paget Hospital in Norfolk’s Great Yarmouth UK.
“The study, which is being funded by the National Institute for Health Research, will begin recruiting participants in December,” he said.

A lady was served divorce paper by her husband (true story)
***Note:*** *This is an article based on an interview with the so called victim in this story.(name is adopted, not real)*
This lady was dwelling in tears when I saw her and approached her and asked her what happened
***"According to her:***
she said she is served divorce papers by husband days after robbers forcefully made love to her.
The lady who goes by the name, Victoria is currently in a devastating state after she was issued divorce papers by her husband due to the fact that she got raped by armed robbers.Narrating the story, she disclosed that she was a virgin before she got married to her husband and has never cheated on him, so she didn't even know how sex with another man feels until the day the ordeal took place.
According to her, her husband's grievance is based on the fact that as she was being raped by the hoodlums, instead of her displaying agony and unease during the process, rather she moaned in utmost pleasure and even encouraged the armed robber to carry on until she reached climax.
Narrating the encounter;
"My name is Victoria, I'm a banker in my early 30s and going through a messy divorce. I married my husband as a virgin. I have never been with any man but him until I was raped. I didnt know anything about orgasm, climax because i have never experienced it. 8years of marriage with a miserable sex life. I have 2 children from my marriage."It happened when we traveled to my husband's village during Easter period. At about 1 am in the night, our house was raided by armed robbers a gang of 7 members."It was a very terrifying experience, after collecting all the valuables at home, the leader turned to rape me. The leader tied my husband to a chair, tore my clothe and went on to show me his manhood that he will use it on me."I was frightened, I begged him and cried but he wouldnt listen. It was a rape that cost me my marriage. As the guy was inside me, I was supposed to feel pains but that wasnt so. I felt a kind of electrifying sensation that I've never felt in my whole life. I screamed 'oh my God', I didnt knw when I held him hard and begged him not to stop. To the amazement of others, I was enjoying being raped by a criminal."I was told I was screaming very hard when I wanted to cum. Yes, I had my first orgasm through rape and since then my life hasn't been the same. The robber took me two rounds which I came both times. I don't know what happened, if it was my village people that pursued me, but all I can say is that I havent had such with my husband.
My husband gave me the beatings of my life after the robbers left. He called me unprintable names, a prostitute and said he can't stay married to me. i was hospitalized for 2 weeks as a result of that incident and his beatings."My husband left me at the hospital and travelled back to our home. I was damaged. How could such a thing happen to me?""How could i even enjoy such act of cruelty on my body? These were the questions i kept asking myself. When i got discharged I met a divorce paper at home, i tried involving my parents to plead on my behalf, even involved my pastor too but all was to no avail. He didn't listen and insisted I should sign the divorce papers.

A friend shares his bitter experience with nagging wife(true story)
It all started when we met at the restaurant. He his an old friend on mine whom I lost his contact due to change of phone, and since then I couldn't reach him anymore, went to his house unknowningly he was embarking on a trip to London which he didn't tell me about.
So after 5years we met at a restaurant where I went to grab my burger and also bumped into him while trying to get a smoothie,we had a few chats about old times and that was where it all began......
He shared his ordeal about how his nagging wife who doubts every move he takes, and accuses him of sleeping around with women.
According to him, his life with her was sweeter than honey prior to their marriage, but after marriage, everything changed.
In his words;
"Three years ago, I and my wife stood before the altar and professed our undying love to each other. When we took the vow in the presence of God, we understood what we were doing and we knew the journey we were embarking on will be forever. We knew right from the start that problems may come but we also understood right from the start that when problems come, it's our responsibility to put our heads together and conquer that problem.
Three years after marriage, we started having issues. At first, I called them petty issues until I realized it was sucking the joy out of our marriage. It started as nagging complaints until it grew into an argument, an argument that nearly turned into a physical fight. We won't talk for days. I won't eat from the house for days. We'll sleep in the same bed but determine not to bring our skins close to each other. It was terrible.
To date, if you ask me what really happened I wouldn't have the answers. All I know is that one day, I came home late to meet an angry wife. She asked where I went. I told her. She asked, "So why didn't you tell me that you'll be going somewhere?" I said, "I didn't know I will keep that long." She said, "You're cheating?" Who is that woman?" I said, "If you don't have any important thing to tell me, please don't waste my time." I was about to walk away when she stopped me. She said, "Remove your joystick from your trousers let smell it. Wherever you put it, today you'll explain." I was shocked. "Hey, what has come over you? Are going crazy?" She said, "You haven't seen anything yet. You think I don't know that you're cheating? You think I don't know that you've been going around chasing small girls. I said remove the thing let me smell it."
I pushed her off my way and went to the bedroom. She followed me everywhere, chanting, "Womanizer, hoo womanizer." I entered the bath, turned on the shower, and started bathing. She stood outside shouting, "Wash it off. You can even decide to wash it off with the blood of Jesus but it wouldn't change the fact you're out there sleeping with small-small girls." That day, I didn't sleep in the bedroom. She went in earlier, threw my pillows outside, and locked the room. She screamed, "I've given you another opportunity. You can go out there and continue cheating, I don't care."
I tried breaking the bedroom door, then it dawned on me that if I break it, I will be the same person to pay to fix it so I stopped. The following day, she was about to repeat it when I snatched the key and threw her out of the bedroom. She was really in a fighting spirit but the man in me was patient enough not to retaliate.
One morning I asked her, "What have you seen that makes you think I'm cheating?" She didn't talk. I asked the question several times before she answered; "Spotting a cheating husband is not rocket science. Every woman can smell from afar when their husband is cheating." I asked, "So what's the scent of my cheating? She answered, "Go and ask those women you've been sleeping with." Obviously, she didn't have any evidence to what she was saying so I decided to do a self-assessment and bring back what we were missing as married couples.
Our s*x life had been boring since we got married. We both played the tired card so we can escape from doing the real job at night. I realized also that we were always home and were not going out together like we used to. Before marriage, we went to a lot of places together. There was no me without her and vice versa. We got married and played the busy couple roles so we forgot to do those things that made us stuck with each other.
One Saturday evening I told her, "Let's go out. Let's go and catch some fun outside." She asked me, "Where are we going?" I said, "There's nothing planned but I believe if we step out, we'll find a place to sit and enjoy the night." She dressed up and we went out. We found a place where they were playing a live band and decided to go there. Immediately we sat down she asked, "How did you know about this place? So this is where you've been bringing your girls, right? How come you know about this place and I don't?" I said, "You and I found this place together. It's also my first time." She said, "Liar! Continue wai, one day your cup will be full."
When the waiter brought our meal, she smiled at us and said, "Enjoy your meal. Call me when you need anything." When the waitress left, another wahala ensued; "I said it. See how she was smiling at you. You're a constant customer. See how she's giving you special treatment." At this point, I couldn't take it anymore. I got up, paid for my meal, and started leaving. She didn't follow. I went home and went straight to bed. An hour or so later, I heard the door opened. When she came she said, "That's how they all are-cheaters. When you catch them, they try to use anger to cover up. Anyway, I didn't ask you to take me out so kindly refund the money you made me pay at that place."
Nothing I said will make her believe that I wasn't cheating. I come home early from work. On weekends, I don't go anywhere except going out to watch football. Even that, I don't overstay after the match. I just don't know how to clean that perception off her head.
Weeks ago, we were having some action when I decided to add some spice. She was lying there when I was changing the styles and alternating between positions. She didn't say a word or revolt. After everything, she asked, "Which of the girls taught you all these?" I was like huh? What did you just say?" She said it slowly, "I'm asking you which of the women taught you all these styles? Next time when you go out there and live your sinful life, don't try to bring it on me. I don't like that. You see how I was watching you? Continue, one day your cup will be full."
There's nothing I do in the house that doesn't bring an argument. I can be thirsty today and drink water and I will be asked, "Which of the girls taught you that when you're thirsty you should drink water?" I'm in a marriage where I'm always trying to prove my innocence because everything I do raises suspicion.
It gets tiring and I sometimes want to leave everything behind and go away. No, I'm not thinking about divorce. I'm thinking about leaving the house because I find no joy in my own house. I'm not someone who stays on his phone all day. I don't talk on the phone at ungodly hours. My phone doesn't ring at the night.
I don't even know where my wife got that idea of me cheating from. I've asked questions. I've had a conversation with her on the same issue. I've poured my heart out to her and even tried to change things around but everything I do is met with suspicion."
`<<The reason why I shared this for you all to contribute and advice me on what advice to give my friend because I don't even know the advice to give him and I don't want to the one to advice him to break up his marriage, so I need advice everyone.`

"Recovering from the fear of vulnerability"
To start with let me brief my experience as a victim of fear of being vulnerable. I know you all must be thinking why I had so much problems or***"does she really has all this problems or just faking it?*** The answer is yes! I do have all this experiences I have been emphasizing on since I joined this platform and I'm so thankful to share my experiences and challenges on this platform.
To be sincere I don't even know when it started so I guess I was born with it. My main goal joining this platform is to share, learn, heal, grow and also to express myself sharing my experiences and challenges in life and my personal self as a whole.
Fear of being vulnerable has been my primary challenge, infact even as I'm writing this article right now I'm still on the path of recovery. The fear of being vulnerable started from from the fear of being indepthed to anyone. My psychological perspective as an human being is that being vulnerable is just like being a slave and that is my fear because I'm a very emotional person, so to avoid being hurt easily or even by little things, I preferred not be vulnerable and independent to the extent that I don't even have a good relationship life from families, friends and even strangers.
I always try to avoid everyone, sometimes I would even lock myself inside my room all day just to avoid interaction, communication and relating with anybody. I never really had a good relationship with my family (i.e good communication) but they still provide most of my needs.
But towards the path of recovery I learnt that 60% of emotional behaviour by people are triggered by depression and the surprising part of it all is that depression can be genetic or hereditary (i.e passed from parents to offsprings). Although I don't even know if mine is hereditary because I have never noticed this in my parent . I faced a lot of challenges during my healing process, although I'm still going through the recovery process and there are some also important information I would like to share with you guys that may help anyone that has this same condition.
I would be talking about that in the next phase.👇

***Why Vulnerability Is Important***

***The Impact of Isolation***
***Embracing our Authentic Self***
***Aiming for Excellence, Not Perfection***
This points above are what I'm using in my recovery process.
*We often ask ourselves this questions when we are ready to bring our walls down and be vulnerable. But first what is vulnerability;*
`What is vulnerability?`
Vulnerability is a state of emotional exposure that comes with a certain degree of uncertainty. It involves a person's willingness to accept the emotional risk that comes from being open and willing to love and be loved.
The fear of vulnerability is a very common fear. Once we understand this central emotional challenge, we can learn how to be vulnerable and why it's rewarding.
`Why Vulnerability Is Important`
Professor and author Brené Brown suggests that vulnerability is an important measure of courage and that it allows people to be seen and understood by the people who are important in their life. Being vulnerable also serves as an important way to foster authenticity, belongingness, and love.
*When we can accept vulnerability, we may find that we experience important emotional benefits. Some of which are;*
**Greater strength:** Putting ourselves into situations where we feel vulnerable can be a way to gain confidence and belief in our ability to handle challenging situations. This can help make us more resilient in the face of life's difficulties.
**Stronger relationships:** Being vulnerable with others is a way to foster intimacy. It can deep our compassion, empathy, and connection to others in our life.
**Improved self-acceptance:** Being vulnerable allows us to accept and embrace different aspects of ourselves. This can foster great confidence and authenticity.
So why do people often fear vulnerability if it is a good thing? Vulnerability is associated with a number of other challenging emotional states. For example, it often plays a part in difficult emotions such as disappointment, shame, fear, and grief. The fear of vulnerability is also often related to a fear of rejection or abandonment.
Examples of Vulnerability
Taking chances that might lead to rejection
Talking about mistakes we have made
Sharing personal information that we normally keep private
Feeling difficult emotions such as shame, grief, or fear
Reconnecting with someone we have fallen out with
Being honest about what we need in a relationship, including our boundaries and expectations
`How we Become Closed Off`
As a small child, we were likely open and free, sharing all of yourself with others. As you grew and matured, however, we may have learned that the world can be a very painful place. We learned that not everyone is on our side, and not all situations are going to go our way.
Over time, then, we may have also learned to protect ourselves. This might mean that we've built walls around our heart, convinced ourselves that we never really loved the person who hurt us anyway, and became practiced in the art of denial.
Even worse, we may have begun to believe and internalize negative thoughts and feelings about yourself. As we search for answers to life's hurts, we may even begin to believe that we were responsible for them.
Are we Sabotaging our Relationships?
The Impact of Isolation
Although these steps are normal and natural, they are also self-defeating. It is important to learn from past mistakes and to strive for personal growth.
However, it is equally important to learn to forgive our own lapses. How often are we quick to forgive someone else's mistake, or even truly bad behaviour, while continuing to beat ourselves up for a mistake that we made?
Likewise, building walls creates a safe space into which we can quickly retreat, but it also blocks the flow of energy and love in both directions. It is easy to become trapped behind our own emotional defenses, unable to give or receive positive emotions as well as negative ones. This leaves many people feeling isolated and alone.
*The fear of vulnerability often leads people to inadvertently cause pain to others.*
People with this fear often become "distancers," using well-honed methods to keep others at arm's length. Some become intentionally buried in work, school, or other activities. Some simply disappear at the first sign that a relationship is becoming intimate.
Still others perform an elaborate dance of push and pull, drawing in a potential partner only to pull away emotionally when the other person gets too close, then drawing that person back in once distance has been re-established.
`Embracing our Authentic Self`
One way to reduce self-isolation and the fear of vulnerability is to embrace our authentic self. We have been hurt before, so we seek to minimize the risk of being hurt again. However, the best way to minimize the potential damage is not to build walls or try to act according to some self-created checklist.
*To combat the fear of vulnerability, we must first learn to love and accept our whole, authentic self.*
Loving ourselves is one of the toughest lessons we will ever face. Everyone has flaws, imperfections, embarrassing stories, and past mistakes they wish they could forget. People are insecure, awkward, and desperately wishing they could change certain things. That's human nature.
The trick is to realize that everyone feels this way. No matter how successful, how beautiful, how perfect someone appears, they all have the same awkwardness, insecurity, and self-doubt.6
`Aiming for Excellence,Not Perfection`
Thinking of the most dynamic, capable person we know: The one who always knows just what to say or do, has the perfect outfit for every occasion, and can simultaneously juggle a baby and a briefcase while standing on the subway.
What if this person said something foolish? Would we hold a grudge? What if that person snapped at us? Would we find that unforgivable? Of course not.
We understand that others are imperfect, that they have good days and bad days, that they have flaws and blind spots and moments of weakness. That's not what we remember them for. We remember their triumphs and shining moments and love and light.
Why treat ourselves any differently? Why beat ourselves up for the things that we easily and quickly forgive in others? Why do we automatically assume that others will judge us more harshly than we judge them?
One way to improve our ability to accept ourselves fully is to treat ourselves in the same way that we would treat a friend or loved one. Showing ourselves the empathy and compassion that we would show to others in the same situation.
***How to Reduce Negative Self-Talk for a Better Life***
`How to Love ourselves`
To learn to love ourselves, we begin by acknowledging ourselves as a whole human being with flaws, imperfections, and all. Owning and embracing our past mistakes, but realizing that they don't define our present or our future.
Apologizing to anyone we feel we have significantly wronged, and then move on. Forgive ourselves. While this is often easier said than done, moving forward, trying to live by a few simple truths.
We are important. Like George Bailey in "It's a Wonderful Life," the simple fact that we exist has a ripple effect beyond our imagination. We may never truly know whose lives we have touched, and what the repercussions were, but they are there.
Embracing our mistakes. Not only do our mistakes make us human, but they give us a wealth of experiences to draw on when helping others. Using our past for good is one of the strongest ways to connect with our entire self.
We should stop trying to prove our value. Humans, especially those with a fear of vulnerability, are always trying to show how worthwhile we are. We worry that if we don't somehow earn our keep, people will stop caring for us. Invariably, we get exactly what we are unconsciously asking for: a string of people interested in what we can give instead of who we are.
Remember that we can't be everything to everyone. Offer the most precious gift of all ourselves rather than trying to be all things to all people. That doesn't mean we should stop performing kindnesses for others, but make offerings based in love rather than fear or self-judgment.
A Word From me
As we truly learn to accept and love yourself, we will find it easier and easier to show true vulnerability. If our sense of self-worth is strong, then we will no longer need others to define it or prop it up for you. We will be able to walk away from those who treat us with disrespect and attract those who treat us well.
However, getting from here to there is never easy. Professional assistance is often required, particularly if our fear is deep-seated and long-lasting. Many people seek the advice of a respected mental health professional, while others find solace in spiritual counseling.
Whatever path we choose, finding freedom from the fear of vulnerability is absolute breakthrough and happiness.
Hoping you all enjoy this🤗....
"Airdrop post: The trips I'm wishing to embark On relating to my life challenges
To begin with we are all born into different families and we all have dreams, either goals, places or things to do or we wished we've done.
Being born to a poor family of 12 would be the worst thing anyone could wish theirselves, struggling everyday to make ends meet and also to survive. My dreams were crushed many times when the challenges I faced over powered me but I stood strong and kept pushing until I was a bit comfortable. Sometimes I even forget my purpose in life, just living life like a shadow that is fading away little by little but because I kept pushing through I was able to break through the door of comfort not total comfort though with gave me the opportunities to be able to have dreams again, during the process I discovered trips that can help me console my soul and heal my exhausted mind.
The first wishful anticipating trip is exploring the "***Disneyland"***
The Disneyland for me would be a place I could refuel my Happiness and energy because right since I was a kid I have wanted to go to the Disneyland because then I do watch it on TV seeing so many families going to have fun in national parks, restaurants, cinemas and so on. So seeing the happiness in thier faces made me love the city and wanted to visit there too and experience all the amazing things right from the national parks, ice cream shops, restaurants, the ice skating e.t.c but don't have the money to explore this beautiful places which made me remembered ***Nomadcoin*** Which is the best token anyone can use to explore these places and fill myself with joy and happiness, it will also give me the chance to explore every food and dishes I've always anticipated to taste. I know this my wishful anticipating trip would be accomplished.
The second anticipating trip I'm wishing to embark on is a trip to "***California"***
California to me is a place where I can rest, relax, regain my mental health when I am exhausted from executing all my goals throughout the year.
It's a place where I can relax my soul, feel the warmth of the beach and also the the coolness of the air. It is a place where I feel like is a permanent place for me to heal from every possible life challenges and also enjoy the other fun part like the nicest dessert, exploring caves, breathtaking restaurants and also meeting new people and making friends which is only possible or rather being easy withe the use of ***Nomadcoin***

Is it bad to be anti-social??(true life story)
WHAT IS ANTI-SOCIAL?
Anti-social is when a person is not sociable or wanting the company of others.
contrary to the laws and customs of society, in a way that causes annoyance and disapproval in others.
I often ask myself this question, "why am I anti-social?" Why don't I want people around me?".
But I have confirmed but not truly sure because I only confirmed psychologically not medically the reason why I am anti-social.
It all started since I was born, I remembered my parents telling me during our play time that I like to be alone and just sit at one place from morning until dawn if possible. They say I don't play or relate with other kids but at first I didn't understand it because because I never knew what anti-social was at that time even when I grew up I didn't still don't know until I heard a foreign hip-hop artist song titled **"Anti-social"**,Then I went to Google what it meant and all the causes but to my surprise is that I don't really have the symptoms but I have the behaviour which has deepened and afraid I can't even be cured or Change anymore because even up until this moment I'm writing this article my parents don't even know I have the disorder, they just think it's a normal behaviour and I don't blame them because they are not educated neither is the country helping in counselling and rehabilitation centres for people with this disorder. I came from a poor and struggling family and with this disorder just made my life miserable.
But thanks to God that gave me a strong mind and brain since I can't afford a medical checkup....I'm into self counselling and I pray I overcome this.
I also need everyone support 🙏.
Thank you.

Uncertain love(my true life story)
To the best of my knowledge I know love is real but I don't know why I hesitate to love or be loved, maybe because I don't want to be heartbroken 💔 or maybe because I'm just afraid without a reason. But to be sincere love is a logical feeling to me. To me it is what I have to think of on every possibility of not future regret which made me so afraid of love because it is unpredictable.
I have loved once before but really didn't end up well because I was cheated on and I also have a problem of low self-esteem which does not allow me to open up or be bold to work up to someone and tell the person I love him. I have been battling this problem since when I was a kid and it takes a ton on me now because I am not even sociable anymore. But the best part is that I always give the best relationship advice which still amaze me until now.
Watch out for the second part of my love story....
Good evening readcasher. I am humbled to be here all the way from Nigeria.
Thank you all for having and would also be expecting your support 🙏
