Poetic Justice... **Life Shouldn't Be That Hard.**

*There are people that sees everything as a competition* *They have stopped living so they live their lives in repetition* *They confuse their callousness with ambition* *Nothing can stop them, not even a thousand petition* *They are all for show...desiring to impress like the exhibition* *Their actions are never genuine because it's all about recognition* *They see anyone who betters them as the opposition* *They think they are God's gift to everyone and they are limited edition* *But they forget that everyone is like that too and we are all on a mission* *They want the world to revolve around them while everyone seems permission* *But to themselves, the truth, it's never on admission* *They are confusing the bitterness of their heart for ambition* *Hoping they can silence everyone into submission* *I see people like this as a politician and I'm always right with my intuition* *The hate in their heart would consume them as they ply the path to demolition* *Life shouldn't be that hard but some people live  it without premonition* *Their heart that is made of stone cannot be cured even by the physician* *Life is not lived within the confine of our heads...life is real, most make that great omission* *We part to meet and we meet to part and life can play a fast one on us sometimes* *The person you hate today might be the one you need tomorrow* *Thread cautiously...not everyone is an opposition* **No Favours.**

*You are not doing anyone favours by loving them* *Love is what we give because of who we are meant to be* *Love is not to be kept but to be spread around like fragrance* *Most people keep it to themselves alone and they constitute nuisance* *Taking you to a new realm and height, I see love like a trance* *Capable of helping you grow as you maintain your balance* *You give as much as you have received, it's like a dance* *Moving your body to the rhythm of the music and each song determines each step* *But sometimes, it's harder to love those who make it harder to love them* *But isn't that what love is about? Loving those who are deemed unloveable?* *Finding that space to love even when it's deemed hard?* *There is a difference between hard and impossible but most people miss it* *Love isn't love when loving someone comes so easy* *Love is only made perfect when it's put to work* *I didn't say it must be easy but how do you know the extent of your love when unstretched?* *You are doing yourself as much favour when you love someone* *You are not doing anyone favours by loving them* *Because when you keep so much bitterness in your heart* *It's a slippery slope for anyone to self destruct here on earth* *The hate in your heart would consume you* *Like a big abandoned house filled with dirt* *Love is not meant to be kept but to be given - give as much as you have received too* **Hurt.**

*You have never broken a heart but they broke yours* *You return lost possessions but yours sometimes doesn’t* *You try to be the best but sometimes people see differently* *You think you have given your all but then, it wasn’t enough* *People hurt you deliberately or maybe not deliberately* *You seem to be at a loss on how the world operates* *You need to be brave and focus on what’s working for you* *See the bright side of life and know there are lessons there* *Just as there are hurdles to be crossed in this life* *There are also lessons to be picked along the way* *Hurt is part of life and we cannot do without it* *It’s okay to love and lost while you put things into perspectives* *Your eyes suddenly become clearer with every hurt and pain* *This is why you need to look at the bright side to this life* *Sometimes you notice that hurt gives you the balance you seek* *Stop feeling bad and trying to retreat from love or people* *You can live with losing the good fight as I have come to know* *But you cannot live with not fighting this good fight* *Hurt is part of life and dealing with it is the best way forward* *Thank you for your time.* *My pen doesn't bleed, it speaks.
