Earn, Save, Invest( 3 Rich Habits for Life) lead image :unsplash.com Earn, save, invest. If you want to get rich, those three things always need to be on your mind. In that order too. I really didn’t understand this until I started a small business Back then in my diploma days with my friends. We kept on struggling with funds and how to manage the profit we made. It took me time to understand these 3 habits because i could remember this lead to inconsistency in the business and I needed to go back and  strategize .I can tell you today this has really helped me and I would share some tips on how you can go about these habits. It’s really not that complicated. You don’t even need to earn a lot of money to become wealthy if you have healthy financial habits.  **The habit of earning more**I believe that increasing your earnings potential is a way to build wealth faster,The more we learn, the more value we can provide to other people and organizations, and that’s how we earn more. I see earning more like a habit. Every year, I want to learn new skills and ways that increase my earning potential. I don’t look at the amount of money I make. I look at whether I’m making progress. That’s what matters more than anything.because the more I can offer the more I would earn . **The habit of saving more** The biggest mistake is to save the same amount of money if you earn more. When I started, I could only save 10% of my income because I didn’t earn that much. But every year, I could save more because I earned a bit more. But don’t only focus on saving . **The habit of investing more** The biggest mistake I’ve made with investing is that I was never consistent.i started a business 2018 and I didn’t even reinvest the profits I made from the business .  But around 2020 I started becoming consistent with investment not only that I also started looking at investing as a habit that only pays off long-term. I overcame my fear of losing money. But don’t forget ,  I started with earning more, then saving more, and then I started with investing. People want to skip the first two steps.  They want to get rich overnight , they  want to buy real estate without putting money down . Ultimately, building wealth comes down to our habits. If we have healthy financial habits, keep developing ourselves, and invest our money wisely without taking big risks, we will win. I hope this helps every business owners and entrepreneurs out there 🙇.. thank you for reading ❤️

Procrastination and how to stop it Lead image:unsplash.com We all procrastinate ,Procrastination is the act of putting off work for no particular reason. I really use to do this alot especially in secondary school when I was giving the projects and assignments and there is this particular saying that make it feel good  ‘’if tomorrow is  not the due date then today is not the do date’’ funny right 😂😂…but I realized it was a really wrong ideology when I got to the university and I needed to stop procrastinating so I did some work on myself  I would share some benefits of stopping procrastination, the challenges you might face and some tips to stop procrastinating  **Benefits Of Stopping Procrastinating** **Lower anxiety:** The more we procrastinate and the longer we wait to get started with important things, the more anxiety and stress we have. **Higher self-discipline:** One of the biggest reasons we procrastinate is low self-discipline. The main benefit of beating procrastination is that you automatically increase your self-discipline. **Better work**: People who don’t procrastinate accomplish better work. When you work with less stress, anxiety, and high self-discipline, you give yourself the chance to do better work.  **Common Procrastination Challenges** **Fear:** There are many kinds of fear that make us procrastinate. Fear of failure, rejection, novelty, success, suffering, hardship, you name it. To overcome fear, we must focus on the present moment **2.       Lack of knowledge:** If you don’t know how to do something, learn how to do it. But if you think you can’t do that, you’ll never start. That’s one of the key characteristics of a passive mindset you don’t even bother trying. But to beat procrastination, we must adopt an active mindset. **Tips To Stop Procrastinating** Do it today not tomorrow: this is my own personal system for beating procrastination  Don’t try to be too perfect: This is a common trap ambitious people fall in. When you try to be perfect, you’re more likely to procrastinate. Avoid distractions : A big aspect of beating procrastination is to avoid distractions. One of the biggest distractions is the internet. It’s good to disconnect at times. Improve self confidence : Improve your self-confidence so you are more likely to get things done. Believe in your ability to figure things out.

How to become Productive Hello  everyone this is my first legit article after dropping an article about myself and how I joined read cash. So I will be talking about productivity. Firstly what’s productivity? Too often, we try to improve productivity without knowing what it is..and Second, I share tested and proven ways to improve your productivity. So I will define productivity as the relevant output of an individual in a certain period, when I say relevant output I mean working on the right things!!(You can be highly productive and have a lot of output, but the results you achieve might be useless.) The benefits of increasing your productivity are clear,When you work on the right things, you will get more and better results. That’s how we realize growth. They are some challenges I faced during my journey of becoming more productivite which I would love to share with you guys MY PRODUCTIVITY CHALLENGES  Firstly ,I was always distracted. I face so many distractions especially from my friends and my phone, I’m in school and I plan to read then boom my friends come to drag me to play or gist, when I get home and I want to use my phone different notifications pops up and before you know it I’m on social media so distraction was a really big problem. At a time the challenge I had was my schedule, I didn’t even have enough time for myself I had personal demands like relationships, family, doing groceries, paying bills, working out, etc.  But all these challenges I mentioned were solved by improving my productivity skills  MY PRODUCTIVITY TIPS 1. While you might think that journaling has nothing to do with improving productivity; keeping a journal is one of the most powerful tools on earth ..If you’re starting with personal development, I recommend starting with journaling as well. 2.You can achieve anything if you focus on one thing …Productivity doesn’t mean doing more work. It means working on the right things. And when you focus on one right thing after the other, you can achieve pretty much anything that’s humanly possible, it’s as simple as this ..it worked for me Effectively  The Last Tip I will be Dropping is ‘’Know your time’’ I think that a productive life equals happy life. Most people complain about not been productive but the question I ask is do they actually know their time?? If you don’t measure your time, it’s tough to stop procrastination or improve your productivity. Because if you want to manage your time better, you have to know where it goes first. This is where your journals come in, keep an activity log in this way you can identify the non productive work  and time wasters do well to eliminate them immediately  I hope this article would help improve your productivity  Thanks for reading ❤️

My introduction **Hi everyone, my name is Olamide , I’m 21 years old .Graduated 2016 from international school of Lagos (isl)where I had some memorable moments I would never forget , I would drop a picture from my last inter house sport.**   Took jamb same year I finished but didn’t meet the required cut of mark so I had to wait an extra year at home. I tried to learn a skill ( tailoring ) but I lost interest at early stage so I decided to attend jamb tutorials against the coming jamb exams ,where I met new faces and made new friends. Unfortunately I still didn’t meet the cut off mark for mechanical engineering but this time I can’t afford to wait one more year at home so I begged my dad to allow go for the diploma program in unilag .i was giving some conditions that if I didn’t pass the exam I was going to be in big trouble. I made some close friends during this diploma period and I was the one taking them around school since I literally spent 6 years of my secondary school there. I had a lot of great memories with them took so pictures too. Fast forward to the last diploma exams, it was really hectic and scary but all thanks to God I passed the exam and gained admission to study Building. I had a 9 months holiday which I enjoyed the first 2 months at first but later got so bored and wanted to resume school.I engaged myself in some jobs that could give me cash and got busy afterwards. I resumed joining my mates at 200L which made it quite hard for me to flow with the class since they already knew eachother from 100L. I took my time studying everybody and when it was second semester of my 200L I made some Amazing friends. I had issues with some courses because I didn’t have primary knowledge from 100L so I just had to create time to read them up. The covid period really taught me a lot of things and it gave me more time to bound with my family since everyone was home..I started a work out routine which after 2 weeks I gave up.. I read new books too and learnt how to cook some delicacies from my sister.i was reading school books at point then I gave up because it looked like we were not going to resume again .unfortunately we resumed the following year and I had to go back to my books .The exams were kinda of hard but we bless God. Fast forward to now  I’m currently in 400L and who be going for my IT second semester which is next year. How I discovered read.cash? So you might be wondering how I discovered read.cash. One of my friends I met during my diploma program (LEVI) introduced me to it , at first I was been skeptical about since I needed to write and I wasn’t a writer or even good at writing but he kept on encouraging to do it and here I am with my first article  Thank you everyone , for reading this story of mine ❤️
