I always look for dramatic differences in dynamic range. Exposing for a cherry blossom in a spot of direct sun pushes down the rest of the scene for rich shadows. Photographed with my Nikon Z 9 and 55mm f/1.2 CRT Nikkor. Made wide open at f/1.2.
