Here. they call this tree, the tree of the dead for the reason being that it's mostly found in cemeteries And in certain times of the year, all its leaves fall off so it ends up looking like a dead tree

I think maybe because they grow in cemeteries. Have you noticed that there are no coconut trees in the cemeteries, or other trees, except maybe the big ones like acacia. But this plant thrives in cemeteries. 😁 That's just my observation. 😊
Same observation tbh but I'm pretty sure coconuts can survive anywhere but maybe these plants like soil with too much nutrients
