I did a thing and tried wetting the paper I was drawing on! The result was oddly a better mix of the ink and now I think I might do this again 😅 but after I finish sketching this. I'm back to blue and the next drawing I'll do will be green. I'm also hoping I could but and orange and yellow pen so I'll have all the colors of the rainbow

Progress shot on the parody of Mona Lisa 😅 I had a lot of waiting time yesterday so I made do with it to sketch a bit. We went hiking up Mt 387 today and I gotta admit, I am tired af and my skin is kind of sunburnt but I enjoyed. The hike started as early as 4:30 am and we had a 2 hour hike up the mountain. It took that long to reach the summit and I'll go upload the other pics later

The highlight of today was really the view and the falls! Aloha falls is definitely something I would keep coming back to because of the cold water. Not too deep either so even my youngest sister got to swim plenty. Next hiking trip would be in my birthday and I am soloing using my birthday leave for that! I'll upload my pictures later

being vain for a little bit cuz the shots are so good! these were taken at the summit of mt 387. sadly i wasn't confident enough to get rid of the jacket but this is definitely a confidence boost on my part UwU i did wear a bikini at the falls though, which was a pretty bad decisions because of how cold the water was

It's almost noon but everyone is still asleep including the dogs 😂😂😂 I know they must've been upset to be left at home for the hiking trip but they're especially clingy today than the previous times we had to leave them at home

I tried to plant trees yesterday too! Part of the hike activities was tree planting and for that hike, we were given guyabano/soursop graftings to plant on one side of the mountain. It was fun and i don't really enjoy getting dirty but for this, I'll make an exception because #LetTheEarthBreathe

I never expected to have another exam besides my monthly evaluation in my company anymore 😭 Surprisingly this research company I have an interview with a required entrance exam Nd I was so not prepared. Especially since I don't handle the instruments they use here. Wish me luck and hope I still get in even when I only answered half the questions

Hehehe the electricity here is back, I am rested from a nap and I skipped work today for an interview and for some well deserved rest. This was definitely a good day! Right now I'm waiting for the paper to dry before I add darker shades of ink on both of them. This new technique I'm trying is pretty time consuming 😅 so now I might start on a new sketch

All I know is that I woke up at 10, I cooked, I cleaned, I ate then I sketched. When I think green I think envy and disgust and they can both fit in one emotional ride so that's what I was going for here 😅 Materials used: vellum board, green and black pens (I have a newfound appreciation for washi tape 😅) Duration: an extremely discontinuous 3 hours

Going for a somewhat Victorian theme for the next 2 drawings because I feel like going for that style for now. Of course, still with pens and ink since I am so lazy to paint 😅 I'm just waiting for the ink to dry so I can resume. In the meantime, I'm cuddling V look how happy she is!

Tiny tiny equipment I like. This is called a pycnometer and it's used to measure liquid density. I never liked the actual density experiment but I do enjoy just looking at this thing 😅 if only all the glasswares here were just for display.

And the art journal raid was unnecessary but i appreciated her reaction so much

My coworkers currently questioning how bad my organisational OCD is because I keep rearranging everything I touch in the lab, apparently. And they don't hate it, they appreciate it because I put labels on how I rearranged things. But I wonder when I'll get a label 😂😂😂

Things i find cute: sulfur boats So these are what we call sulfur boats in the lab. They're container units for coal. The coal sample is combustef amd sulfates are collected by a machine them the sulfur content is computed. It's pretty easy to do, it's just that you get soaked in the heat when you do this analysis ;;-;;
