This is the only difficulty in using firewood in cooking instead of liquefied petroleum gas because sometimes when the wood used is not of good quality its smoke is painful to the eyes, like now that I am currently using. Because we live in a village here in the province, we prefer to use wood for cooking because it is available for free in the woods and LPG is also very expensive compared to those who live in the city. But sometimes I get really annoyed because it needs to be fanned to keep the fire going so it can cook right away and just like I said that smoke hurts my eyes😁. But one should really be careful when using firewood because it is also a possible source of fire as happened in a house in our neighboring Barangay where their house burned due to cooking with wood.
