The fast started today and will last until August 27 inclusive. Food restrictions: we can't eat meat and meat products, fish and seafood, eggs and dairy products. The exception is the feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord on August 19, and this day can be fish.

Our fast last one month, we stop eating or drinking anything, since sun rise till sunset. After thé sunset we can eat or drink all what we like ,all thé night. But if someone have any desease hé is allowed to eat in the day, hé has just to pay some money for poor people.

You are right , it's ramadan , I Guess you have some informations about it. Even hère there is more days for fast but only for whom want do more , not an obligation, ramadan no choice all must do it , only people who have Illeness or too young
