Symbols in dreams are personal We say, “The symbols in our dreams differ from person to person”. I wanted to deepen this a little more in this article. Guide dreams that we see apart from unconscious and telepathic dreams exist to tell us something and make us feel through symbols. Sometimes they only help us to have enlightenment about that process or the issues we are interested in, and sometimes they support us in matters such as our life in general and our life purpose. Here, symbols and their meanings for us come into play. There may be more than one symbol of the same emotion or behavior, these symbols may differ from person to person. For example, for us, a movie hero in our childhood may be describing the father or mother characters, while for someone else, it may refer to a situation related to the private life of the hero (for example, earning a lot of money) apart from his role in the movie. Although these two people dream of the same movie hero, the analysis of the dreams will be different. Another example is that someone who loves to eat spinach and someone who remembers Popeye when spinach is called, seeing spinach in a dream cannot be analyzed in the same way. For this reason, symbols and the meaning of those symbols for the dreamer are very valuable. How that dream makes us feel when we wake up in the morning is also an important clue when evaluating our symbols. If you want to get real support from your dreams, you should definitely have a notebook in which you record your dreams, and follow your waking life 2-3 days after you dream, and take note of the details, even if they are small. What happens in our waking life will give us an idea about the symbols in the dream. When we see the same symbol again, we will realize that we are open to similar experiences in the following days. However, the whole of the dream is always important, analyzing the symbol alone is not enough, and it may be wrong. The whole dream is always the healthiest analysis. In order to have a healthy dream, we should get help from activities that relax the body and soul, such as breathing exercises, taking a shower, listening to baroque music, and meditating before going to sleep. A well-rested body or mind will present the experiences of that day to us in our sleep at night. A relaxed and calmed mind will be ready for sleep. Of course, by asking the answers to the questions and situations that we are looking for with our intention sentences before going to sleep, we increase the possibility of seeing the subjects we are curious about in our dreams. Let me make a small warning here: The scenario or symbols we see in our dreams do not have to be related to the subject we are wondering about. If we focus on what the symbols mean, we can relate to that topic. Finally, we must work on a subject for at least 3 nights. We may be inclined to see the symbols of those who are under the influence of our more conscious minds on the first night.

You can choose how to live your life “I have to do this”, “I don't have time”, “I have to go there.” Do these sentences sound familiar? How often do we use phrases like these? As a society, we continue this habit by saying the sentences we have been accustomed to hearing since our childhood. And most of the time we are not even aware of it. Well, if I tell you, these are your choices. I know, the first thing that comes to mind is “Is it okay, why should I choose these? You don't know what I've been through!" Yes, I don't know and I'm sure some of them are quite challenging for you. But knowing this, I invite you to a different field: As you practice changing your point of view and your discourse on what you are going through, you can take control of your life. We put ourselves in the role of victim when we always see others as the reason for performing or not performing an action. Because our hands are tied there and whatever commands come from outside, we are in the position of executors without question. However, this is our life and we have the right and power to choose how we live our lives! Maybe we forgot this for years and it was made us forget. But we can remember again… Reminding yourself that you have this power is easier than you think. All you have to do is replace the predicate of the sentence with "I choose" when you are going to construct the sentences above and similar! Let's try it together: “I choose to do it this way”, “I choose to spend my time on something else instead”, “I choose to go there.” When we change the predicate to choose, we remind our minds over and over that this choice actually belongs to us. But when we remember this, the fact that we may have other options may surface. When you are asked to do something you don't want in your work or social life, when you say "you have to", this action brings unhappiness and stress. But maybe you do it even if you complain about the habits of years, maybe because of the culture you live in. At the end of the day, you choose to do it. When you are aware of your choice, you can take responsibility for it by starting to search for ways to say no, to establish a healthy communication about why you should not do it. If you are eager to walk regularly for your health, but you say "I can't because I don't have time", this choice is yours. By making a list of the things that take your time during the day, you can take responsibility for this by noticing the activities that maybe don't contribute to you, maybe you spend more time than necessary, and by setting a small time for walking. If you don't want to go but go on a date just to avoid shame, then this choice is yours. You can choose to force yourself to go when you are sick, stop seeing people you don't want with a healthy communication, and you can prioritize yourself. In a nutshell, you can choose how to live your life! Although it may sound simple, I am aware that implementation is not always this easy. This is a habit of life, and as with any habit, gaining the habit of choosing takes practice. But isn't it worth choosing to practice choosing to live a happier life?

The key to personal transformation: Me watching You may not always be aware of your feelings and thoughts in your daily life. But actually a part of you is aware of all this. The part of your self that is aware of your feelings and thoughts is called the observing self. The observing me, which is the part of you that does not change, experiences, sees, touches and thinks, is not a thought or a feeling, but rather an awareness, even a concept beyond awareness. The observing self observes without producing any thoughts, without judgment, and makes you aware of what you are doing. When you feel like you are at war with thoughts inside your mind, it helps you to just observe the story from a step back. It allows you to see your thoughts, feelings and memories as they are, as a collection of pictures, images and words. The watcher I is like the sky; While your thoughts and emotions are like air molecules that are constantly changing and moving in this sky, the sky is always blue and even the strongest hurricane cannot damage this sky. If a part of yourself is capable of observing, then you have another part of yourself being observed. This other part of you is called ego. The ego keeps you on the ground of reality, preventing your self from disintegrating, and that's why it's necessary. However, the way to be an individual is through the observing ego stepping in and observing the ego without judgment. It is important to monitor your ego because your brain is constantly listening to you. Observing the ego with the observing ego is also very important for your self-esteem, self-worth, and self-confidence. Observing the ego means being able to look at yourself from the outside to observe the consequences of your actions, your defenses and motivation, and understand how they affect other people. Developing the watching me improves your relationships and helps you understand what it is you really want to do. Since your brain is constantly listening to you even when you are alone, objectively observing what you are saying to yourself is extremely effective on your self-confidence. Both many psychotherapy schools and mystical approaches emphasize that unconscious material must be brought into consciousness, confronted, and only thus become whole in order to achieve a full change and transformation. To better understand the watching me, we can compare your life to a movie starring yourself. There are various scenes in the script of this movie that you experience when you are alone or with other people. Even if you have some idea of what part of your life story has been like so far, or what you've been through, you have no more than guesswork about how your story will continue and end from now on. Well, if there was a director for this movie about your life, starring yourself, who would it be? At this point, he says, “I think that every person should be both a leading actor and a director in their own story” and continues: “Another question is why if we are the people who are both the leading actors and the directors in these feature films that we call life? Why can't each of us have a perfect story, yet we often keep making the same 'mistakes' or defenses over and over? Or why do some of us insist on living an unconscious and random life as if our stories never had a director? The 'observer me', which is often mentioned in psychology and psychotherapy, provides an answer to all these questions. Here is the observing me, as I said above, the part of you that evaluates how you behave, what you think and feel, in the most general sense, by looking at yourself from the outside. The observing self is also closely related to the concepts of insight and emotional intelligence. The observing self is also the part of you that is aware that you have insight and emotional intelligence. The observing self, which is potentially present in everyone, can be at different levels depending on the spiritual maturity level of the person. The more space the observing self occupies in a person's life, the higher the awareness and spiritual maturity level of that person. In this respect, we can liken the observer me to a guide that provides spiritual change and transformation. Regardless of your age, the Observer Ben is an observer that covers your entire life up to that point. The fact that your observing mole is active indicates that you can see the mistakes you have made in your life, that you can intervene when necessary, that you can evaluate your experiences from the outside in an impartial way, that is, you have a part of yourself that directs your life. The more active your observing mole is, the more aware you become of your personality, emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. This shows how open you are to change, development and transformation. At this point, the question of how can I improve the observing me may come to your mind. As I mentioned above, the concept of the observing self is a concept emphasized by many psychotherapy schools. Therefore, observing the therapy process is one of the techniques that improves me. In the therapy process, the fact that you turn a part of your self that displays your various behaviors in your daily life into an "object" and looking at all these experiences from the outside from the position of "subject" activates the observer me. In this way, you and your therapist look at the issues that you brought up in the session from an observer position. Over time, you internalize this perspective and get the opportunity to spread this skill throughout your life. The more you use your observing ego, the more nothing in your life will be the same as before, and change and transformation become inevitable.

Is friendship of good days more precious, friendship of bad days? Do you think friendship of good days or friendship of bad days is more valuable? Or let me ask: Is it easier to be around someone on a good day than with someone on a bad day? If you ask me, I think it is more difficult to be around a person on a good day and to embrace the person you call your friend in every way. Of course, if it's about friendship, it should be possible to be with the person you call your friend under all circumstances. Both in good times and in bad times… I think this issue is very, very important not only in life partner but also in friendship. Isn't it a sublime thing to know that whatever happens to a person, he will run to him and listen to him without judgment? In my opinion, it is a great blessing… And more importantly, if you have friends who hear what they don't say more than what they say, hug them tight... Do your best not to lose them. Be sure, it is very difficult to collect these friends. **Why am I here with such an article?** Because I went through big breaks recently when I couldn't be at my keyboard... While I was living the most exciting period of my life, while the butterflies in my stomach were still flying, I got to know the friendships around me as if they were. Even though it left my enthusiasm to witness this in the most special period of my life, my faith in the concept of friendship has not been shaken. Maybe some of you will not understand what I mean, why I emphasize good day friendship. Contrary to popular belief, it was strange for me at first to emphasize the importance of a good day friendship, let me tell you frankly. However, when I thought about it later, my belief that it was more difficult was completed. So much so that the most difficult thing is to be with someone who will embrace you in your most excited state and who will tolerate your mistakes. Being a supporter. The most important thing is that he understands the deep significance behind all your reproaches. There should be people willing to look at what's underneath, not the tip of the iceberg. Those who follow my articles know that for me, who devoted my years to adopting the right style and expressing myself with the right communication method, how it is said is more important than what is said. However, another issue that I need to emphasize is that this issue is not unique and special to me. It is always and important for everyone. Adopting the language of compassion, paying attention to the essence and paying attention to the word should be the motto of all of us so that we can establish the right communication, without hurting or offending the other person... Thankfully and fortunately, I experienced who is real and who is fake, this time at such a brand new turn of my life. Fortunately, I was able to understand my gratitude for the presence of my friends who truly read my heart and chose to listen without judgment. Still, I can say "I'm glad I experienced this big disappointment". In this way, I also thank them with my writing. Well, which one do you think? Is friendship more valuable in good times or bad?
