The Winchesters If you've seen the TV show "Supernatural," you've probably heard or known the word "Winchesters." Dean and Sam, the show's main characters, have this surname. While scrolling through my Facebook newsfeed, I noticed a post from The CW Network Page about their new series "The Winchesters." It's a prequel to Supernatural about the brothers' parents. Link: https://www.facebook.com/TheCWWinchesters/videos/534536258252263/ If I based on the trailer video, it appears to contradict the story of Supernatural because John (Father of the brothers) never knew Mary (his wife) was a hunter until she died. I'm confused about how the writer and director explain it and make the audience believe the flow of the story. In my opinion (possibilities) 1. At that time, one of the angels or archangels erased John's memories. 2. Dean and Sam traveled back in the past and erased their father's memories. 3. It shifts as Dean and Sam travel through time. Everything that happened in the past has changed.
