I heard on the radio that the delivery of the PhilSys National ID had been delayed, as announced by PSA (Philippine Statistics Authority). They apologize for the delay in receiving the ID. Added Information 1. PSA issued 5 million ID cards, but only 3 million were dispatched by Philpost. 2. More than 1.7 million Filipinos have received the national ID. 3. Every day, they produce 70k-80k ID cards. 4. The Philysis mobile app will be available next year. Even if you forget your PhilSys ID, you can use this app as a mobile ID 5. The Philsys also works with DFA (Department of Foreign Affairs) to launch Philsys registration abroad (other countries). This is great news for OFw and Filipinos living abroad. Note: PhilSys ID is a national ID that can be used for any government or service transaction. Don't forget to register and obtain a Philsys ID, my Kababayan.
