Why you should keep silent about magic. ***To know, to dare, to will and to keep silent.*** Those who perform magic do not talk about magic, unless they want to screw it up. The first and probably the most important reason is the fact that magic is a result and process of the mind, and while you’re talking to other people about it,  you are getting their minds involved in your magic, for better or worse, typically worse, because your mind is not the only mind that has a link to the divine, and your conscious mind is not the only filter that can block your magic, especially from those who are ignorant, prejudice and fearful of such things, and even if they’re not fearful but doubtful and they’re conscious mind is thinking about what you’re doing, is going to end up by blocking what you are doing, so if you are on social media just talking about magic, or posting pictures of your rituals, or your intentions regarding future projects, since magic is not only about rituals, magic is everything we do in life, then you will have everyone’s conscious and subconscious mind working against you, and the number of minds involved does matter ! Perhaps you will get people praying for you, which is a form of magic, aimed at negating your magic. It does not matter if they’re of good faith or not, if they’re praying with you or against it, the important here is their mind being involved in your magic. The second reason you must keep silent about your magic is that we are all expressive beings, all life is expressive, what goes in has to come out in order to complete the great electrical circuit, and by talking about what you are doing, you are diverting that energy from what you are doing, it’s like a water hose that has a lot of water pressure built up into it, and you are trying to hit something on the other side of the garden with the jet spray, but if the hose has a leak in it, you’re not going to get enough pressure or force to do it, the spray is going to dwindle, that is the reason why we keep silent, so that our force is focused on our magic and our goals instead of all over the place. Perhaps you enjoy dressing Goth and wearing pentagrams as an expression of who you are, but the best magicians are the ones who blend in with society, it’s those expressions that are going to return and hinder you for the very reasons that we’ve been talking about. I know as I am writing this paragraph that I may sound like a complete fanatic, and it’s not that I am against anything anyone does because he or she likes it, what I am saying is that these kind of expressions are very loud announcements of who you are, what you like and what you are doing, which are accompanied by stereotypes and very fixed mindsets. Silence is a form of depolarization, and the way you dress is part of that, so if you dress extreme you are placing a huge limitation on yourself. That is why he or she with the pink Mohawk, nose ring and the face tattoo is going to have a lot more limiting and restrictive options in life than somebody who just dresses "normally", and he or she will sit around and complain how life is not fair because everybody is judging them by the way they look, and it is because of the self-limiting thing they put upon themselves, that was a choice that they made, they restricted their own options only to get validated and recognized. That is why we have to redirect and focus our expression into our magic, magic being everything that we are doing in life and not only the « occultist » part of it. The conscious mind is always wanting to project and express everything, that is why we are projecting things onto others, onto the divine, and onto anything but ourselves, and it would be better if we took those conscious projections and focused them on our will to make things happen for us instead of against us.

Law of gender: sex in the mind. They say that everything is symbolic of sex, well it is, just not in the way that it is commonly thought, so we need to get into and go over the law of gender, which on the surface is going to look a lot like the law of polarity, but there are key differences, the two laws do go hand in hand and resemble one another but they are not quite the same. We have seen in the previous articles how everything is magic, now we are going to add to that statement and say that magic is sex, and we are not talking strictly physical sex, although physical sex does adhere to the law of gender, what we are really talking about are two specific energetic forces, for a lack of a better description, they are two because they also must adhere to the law of polarity and duality, but they are not the same, the male energetic force which is equated to a positive charge, although you have to remember that positive and negative does not mean good or bad, it only means its directional flow, the male energetic force is that force which pushes outside of itself, whereas the feminine force is that which draws into itself, the male force penetrates, and the feminine force absorbs and assimilates, and the male force penetrated the feminine energy and impresses upon it the idea and the blue-print, the feminine energy takes that blue-print, absorbs it and assimilates it to give birth to the creation. You can see how physical sex totally adheres to the law of gender, this should all make perfect sense so far because we are already familiar with the aspects of procreation on the physical level. Now you are going to take this concept and principle and apply it to your mind, the male energy is that fiery dynamic force that we refer to in magic as the **WILL**, which is part and parcel to the conscious mind, whereas the feminine energy resides within the subconscious mind, when your will successfully penetrates and impresses upon the subconscious mind, it will then absorb and assimilates those blue-prints given by the will and then turn and give birth to the results of your magic is perfect synchronization within your reality, this is why the will is very important in manifesting, because just sitting there visualizing and meditating in a passive dreamlike state is not going to do much, because that’s using a feminine energy, the male will is fiery, dynamic, passionate and often exaggerating in its capabilities in order to make an impression, and this is the sole purpose of ritual magic, all those candles, robes, sigils, everything is there for one purpose only : **TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION UPON THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND**. The subconscious takes that, processes it, and then gives birth to/manifests the results, it will first try to manifest the results internally, and then externally into your reality with synchronicity, and this happens whether you are aware of it or not, that is why it is very important to guard the gates of your mind. The subconscious mind sees all and knows all, this is why it picks up on things your conscious mind ignores, the things **YOU CHOOSE** to ignore, that’s why we are being bombarded by subliminal messages on a constant basis, and you don’t want that to be processed by your subconscious mind without you knowing, as it could contain negative thoughts and could manifest them somehow in your reality, and again, think about that when you are scrolling through your social media newsfeed, you might be scrolling down without really reading anything, but know for sure that your subconscious mind is reading all of that, and if you want to use this to your advantage, you might want to write positive messages and hide them around your house, your room so that your conscious mind is not really seeing them but your subconscious is picking it up, processing it and manifesting it. The subconscious mind truly is the link to what we refer to us **THE DIVINE**, it is the portal to the other realms and it the zero-point for all that manifests in reality, **ones** and **zeroes** as in the binary system, also represent **male** and **female** ;).

Law of synchronicity. One of the really cool things about being conscious, and paying attention to even little details that happen in your daily life is being able to witness synchronicity, seemingly random things or coincidental events that really aren’t coincidental at all. Many times you will have a question that you will either stumble across the answer later, or it will  pop in your head and you will just know the answer, and typically when that happens within hours or days, you will come across something that will confirm that answer for you, and this is an aspect of how synchronicity works, and it’s the way that your magic  is going to manifest, things typically don’t spontaneously and suddenly appear in front of you, the way the results of your magic come into your life is through synchronicity, so if you did a ritual for more money, or just meditate on having extra money without performing any other ceremonial rituals, random coincidental events would happen to bring you extra money and it would seem like a normal part of life, except for the fact that you did a ritual to get that to happen, the time it takes is usually short, and if you don’t practice ritual magic, you should be aware of synchronicity, because as I explained in a previous article (What Magic Really Is), everyone is doing magic whether they know it or not, you need to look at things that are coming into your life now, look back three days, three weeks, three months, see if you can trace it back to something you have done or said, or to something that someone else has said, social media timelines are very good at being able to provide tracking for that kind of things, ***so it shall be written, so it shall be done*** . With all that being said, be very aware of what people post on their timelines, because a lot of it could be just negative things, and you may want to limit your time on there after you are aware of all this, a part of being conscious is being able to guard the gates of your mind, if you are not controlling the your magic rest assured that somebody else will, once you are aware of synchronicity in the way that these things come into your life, you can then start to control it, and this is what we mean by being the center of your universe and magic, when you are in the circle, you are the center of your universe because you are orchestrating it all, synchronicity now serves you, and I have to say that it is pretty cool when it happens. Think of synchronicity as what happens, and not as the how or why and we will get into all that in the next articles.

Law of polarity. You conspiracy folks need to listen up and take notes because this is one of the main ways that those who know control those who do not know, through the law of polarity, it’s one of the seven hermetic principles, and life is lived through these seven principles. Polarity, opposing forces of light and darkness, the blue print for the nature of reality. You can’t escape duality, it’s built right into the fabric of reality, of life: up/down, left/right, black/white, in/out, yes/no, male/female, positive/negative, but the truth is that these seemingly opposite things are not separate at all, these things are one of the same but with an opposite polarity, everything is dual, everything has poles, everything has its pair of opposites, LIKE and UNLIKE are the same, opposites are identical in nature, the only difference is the extremity that they stand on. We’re taught to seek one absolute truth, but in fact, all truths are only half-truths, all paradoxes may be reconciled, many of the truths rely only on our point of view, and that’s the point of polarity, what’s good for one person may be bad for another person, people are polarized and you see this most evident in politics, either on the left or the right, in religions too, some of the atheists are just as extreme as the fundamental religious that they think they’re rebelling against, they’re one of the same, but with an opposite polarity.   So how are people controlled by the law of polarity by those who know? The most illustrating example would be: THE MEDIA! That’s why the media only focuses on issues that they create, issues that divide and polarize the people, they rarely focus on anything that unifies anybody, it’s all division and polarization, those who are polarized are easily manipulated and controlled, and all that is required is to introduce either an opposing force or a like force to move and mobilize them, by the simple repulsion or attraction, that is why it is important to balance those forces within one’s self in order to depolarize you, so that you are in the middle, and so you don’t automatically react to things. In fact, you don’t have to agree or disagree with anything you see, you hear or you come across, although you will feel the need to do so, because, well, you are polarized! See, it’s not that polarization is a bad thing, it’s a natural thing, and without it life couldn’t exist. Think of polarity as terminals on a battery, positive and negative, what happens to the flow of electricity if you remove one of those terminals? Well, everything stops! That’s why you need that equal and opposite force, because without it there could be no movement, and considering that the human body is both bio-electrical and electromagnetic in nature, you can start to begin to understand how this comes into play. Polarity is not a BAD thing, but it is the principle that is over exploited in today’s society, so whenever you are in a situation of US vs THEM, you’ve got to know that this is the moment polarity becomes bad, that’s when you will over react to the slightest things like you have lost your mind, if you’re not with me, then you’re my enemy kind of thing.  Polarity represents not only duality, but the battery terminals for the great electric flow for life, and you need those terminal to complete the circuit, and hopefully you keep the line grounded ;)!

What magic really is. Well, it depends on who you ask, you might ask a stage performer what magic is, they will tell you it’s tricks, illusions or a simple sleight of hand. You might ask a religious person and they will tell you magic is of the devil and to be avoided, and you will understand why that’s funny later on this article. The most popular definition of magic was defined by Aleister Crowley, and he defined magic as***: “the science and art of causing change to occur in conformity with will”***. This definition is both accurate and misleading at the same time, I mean, it could be my will to have a sandwich, but I don’t have to go to a temple and perform a ritual to get a sandwich, I can just go to my fridge, grab something here and there and make one, you will say: “oh that’s not magic!!”, but as defined by Crowley, IT IS MAGIC! That’s why this definition is both accurate and misleading because, to the magician, everything you think, everything you say, everything you do, everything around you, and everything within you is magic. Here’s the best part, since everything is magic, it cancels itself out, therefore there’s no such thing as magic, I personally don’t even like using the term MAGIC, for it carries a lot of stereotypes with it, I might instead call it LIFE. Everybody performs magic whether they know it or not, and that’s why it’s so funny when people say that magic is of the devil because they themselves perform magic on a continuous basis, without even knowing !  Rituals performed in churches, synagogues, mosques are all magic, every thought is a prayer, and every word is a spell, which makes this idea a good starting point when it comes to understanding what magic really is. So what’s the purpose of performing ceremonial magic, if everyone’s already performing magic anyway? The answer is: the magician knows how to control his magic, by utilizing hermitic principles and higher laws to his advantage, and that’s the first basic law, so the truth is that you don’t have to dress in robes and perform rituals or light candles in a dark room and conjure spirits to perform it, he who really is in control of his magic doesn’t really have to, he can perform magic anywhere anytime within his own mind and be quite successful at it. One example can really illustrate what I’m saying: try, anytime you have a negative thought, to treat it as an offer for you to either accept or reject, so you say “I reject that thought”, you don’t need to say it out loud, it’s certainly more powerful if you do, but you can just say it in your head, on the flipside, if you have a positive thought you say “ I accept that thought”, and do that during a period of time, and start to see how much your perspective on your daily life begins to change by that one practice alone, and by doing this, you start to condition and train yourself to control your magic that YOU ARE ALREADY DOING ANYWAY, without the need for any ritual nor chance nor candles, those things have their place, time and reasons. You might say: “How am I supposed to monitor my thoughts all the time?” well, just like anything else, it takes practice and after a period of time it becomes a habit. Understand that this is not just with thoughts, this is with anything that is said to you, anything you read or anything you hear…You might not be able to control your thoughts, or the things people say to you, or the things you come across, or the things you hear, but you can flip the switch between YES and NO, you can certainly do that and begin to take control. You’d be surprised how many people curse themselves by the things that they think and the things that they say, and also the things that they do, that’s the magic they perform upon themselves, because everything you think and say has a charge, and that charge is either going to be negative or it’s going to be positive, it’s either going to bless you, or it’s going to curse you, this is just simple basic principles, we have to get used to the idea that everything we put out there is going to return to us, and it’s amazing how people don’t get this, or make fun of it. You are already performing magic anyway, with what you’re saying and with what you’re doing, be attentive to what you are putting out there!
