Silly Sophie Sophie decided to make herself look like anger from Disney film inside out, she used red lipstick to turn her face red which was rather funny. Family life is never full in this house, it’s crazy sometimes with lots of laughs.

Aim High And Fly Predators athletics cheerleaders flying up to the roof as they prep for the biggest competition of the year at future cheer Bournemouth next weekend. These cheerleaders are amazingly talented and brave, they are so so awesome and I am so proud of being a parent to two cheerleaders.

Damp Dotty We got caught it a rather heavy rain storm earlier today as you can see from these photos of a very wet Dotty. She looks wet and fed up in these photos but just before I snapped these pics she was running from puddle to puddle having great fun, she’s such a crazy little dog, she enjoyed the rain but I certainly didn’t.

No Dad This Is My Space So it seems on certain very small dog has decided to steal my side of the bed yet again. I just went to clean my teeth and when I returned from the bathroom Dotty was curled up on my part of the bed. As you can see from the photo she was in no rush to move out of the way either, but eventually she did let me get into bed lol.
A British Pub Classic Ham, egg and chips is a British classic that is served in cafes and pubs across the land. This was Sophie’s meal choice last night where as you can see she had two fried eggs, two nice slices of Wiltshire cured ham and a good helping of thick cut chips, yummy.
Daddy Daughter Time Is there anything better than spending time with your kids and sharing passions. Both my daughters are huge music fans with a broad enjoyment of music from pop through to dance to rap to rock, they recognise the talent of the artist and go from there. Last night it was rap metal, next time it’s rock music. Dinner and a gig with my eldest daughter, a fantastic night creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Let The Entertainment Begin Sophie and I are gig ready and waiting for the linkin park tribute band to start their set. They are running through the whole of hybrid theory and then finishing up with some hits, it’s going to be awesome.

Pre gig food Sophie and I made a call into one of the Wetherspoons pub before heading to see our gig tonight for some food and drinks. Sophie went for ham, egg and chips, and I went for a buttermilk chicken burger. We did mean to also order some hallumi fries but I managed to click the the wrong item on the app and managed to order some quorn nuggets by mistake, oops.
Gig Time Sophie and I are on our way into Bristol for the linking park tribute band at the fleece, we are on the bus nice and early so we can go get food and some drinks before the gig starts, expect some more posts as the night night progresses lol

The Good Old British Summer Summer in Britain often involves a lot of rain, we love to moan about it but to be honest it’s a lot better than the really hot days. To be honest I think the British just love moaning about the weather regardless of what the day presents lol. These photos were taken of a walk Sophie and I did when we got caught out by a heavy rain shower and had to take refuge under a tree, this reminds me so much of being a young kid and I quite enjoy watching the rain.

Something A Little Artistic This photo was taken last weekend while Sophie and I were out doing some walk training for a charity walk we are doing in September. While we were out it started to rain really hard so we took refuge from the rain in an underpass with some other people caught in the storm. As we where stood there waiting for the rain to ease off I took this photo of the cyclist and some runners with the rain coming down outside and then edited it on PicsArt into black and white.
Someone Stole My Part Of The Bed It seems that Dotty is tired after a long day at work providing cuddles and making the staff smile, so has taken her self up to my room and stolen my spot on our bed. Such a cheeky little dog, she thinks she’s the boss of the house but thanks to her being so small I can just relocate her lol.

Out Doing Some Shopping Dotty and I are out doing some shopping on our lunch break, mixing a walk in with some errands. She is loving her trip to the shopping centre as she is getting lots of attention from the other shoppers.
Gig Ready Sophie is all ready for her first music concert tomorrow night, as you have probably guessed from the hoodie it’s a linkin park cover band. We both love linkin park and never got the chance to see them before Chester passed away so tomorrow night will be great fun for us both. Dad and daughter rocking out to some mega tunes

One Chilled Dog As Dotty has got older she has chilled out and become really cute and cuddly, as you can see here. She was so relaxed in this photo it was crazy, she just sat there on Sophie’s lap like this is my human and I’m so happy
Dotty Has A Baby Well a toy doll but she guards it like her own baby lol. She found it at her grandparents house and now it’s in the favourite toy pile, although her unicorn is still her favourite toy. Dotty really is so cute at times, she really is a cool pup.

Lunchtime View I am in the centre of Bristol today on a course so I am having my lunch and doing a little people watching on Queens Square. Queens Square is always busy when the sun is shining as it’s a lovely open green space in the centre of this busy city, so a great place to watch the world go by. I used to work in one of the historical buildings surrounding the square so this is also a little trip down memory Lane for me.

Sophie and Lily all ready for todays comp, it’s just a small competition today with local teams, a warm up for Future Cheer in Bournemouth which is the biggest competition of the year
Pretty Lorikeet This stunning Lorikeet came and sat on my hand to eat the nectar I had for him and posed for a photo in the process. I just love the bright colours of the lorikeets, they are beautiful little birds who really do love nectar.
Cuddly Koala Bear Koala’s are the cutest little bears in the world, they look like soft little teddy bears but I understand they can be aggressive if approached just like all bears. This little chat was happy hanging out in his tree, munching on the eucalyptus leaves and just hanging about.

Chatting With The Parrots Sophie and Lily had a great chat with the parrots at longleat safari park, chatting about anything and everything. The parrots were beautiful, so brightly coloured and majestic, such stunning clever birds.

Birds Everywhere While we were at Longleat safari park we fed the lorikeets which was fun. As soon as we entered the lorikeet enclosure with the pots of nectar we were covered in birds with one landing on Sophie’s head. It didn’t take the lorikeets long to drink all the nectar and then they we straight over to the next visitors to enter the enclosure.

Cute Red Panda No trip to Longleat safari park is complete without going to see the red pandas as they are so so cute. These little guys originate from China and Nepal, and they have the cutest little faces. We only managed to see this one red panda on our recent trip, the other must have been sleeping inside or had decided not to come out after the morning rainstorm. Regardless we were over the moon to see this little cutie and get a few photos to share.

Sun Sparkling Through The Raindrops Sunshine after the rain is just magical and mystical, it’s nature at the best. I’m a massive fan of the sun shining through raindrops like you can see in this photo, it brings a whole new element to the natural world around us.
Poser At The Top Of The Cascades Sophie wanted a photo at the top of the cascade walkway in centreparcs for some random reason, so as a good dad I did as I was told. The cascade has waterfalls working there way down the boardwalk that runs from the top of the hill to the bottom, it’s a very pretty walk, one we made on a regular basis during our weeks vacation so I think for Sophie this photo is a nice souvenir.

One Very Tired Pup Well it seems that our family vacation to centreparcs has really tired out little Dotty and now she’s home she is catching up on sleep. Dotty has spent the past seven days exploring the forest at Longleat and meeting lots of new dogs and people, she really was living her best life and now she’s home she’s resting up.
This Dog Has No Boundaries Dotty is quite the character, she thinks she can go anywhere she pleases and as you can see that includes tables. One moment she’s sat happily on my lap and then the next she’s up on the table sniffing around everyone’s coffee, she does love coffee. As soon as I took the photos she was removed from the table and we cleaned it up with sanitising wipes so that it was safe to use, we always clean up after Queen Dotty.

Our Final Day Of Vacation Begins We were up bright and early this morning to get the car packed so we can enjoy as much of the final day at centreparcs as possible. It’s always best to beat the crowds and get the car in, packed and back to the car park before the masses are up. Best of all being up early means I can get photos like this without other people getting in the way, I do love being up early it’s the best time of day.
Now That’s One Epic Hot Chocolate As it’s our final evening at centreparcs we are following tradition and having double choc hot chocolate with whipped cream, a chocolate flake and marshmallows at the sports plaza. This is something we do every time we’re are here and has been a family tradition for over 20 years, so before the girls were born. As always it’s super yummy and all four of us were glad we made the final night walk down tp keep up the family tradition.
Longleat Flowers These two flower verities are all over the centreparcs grounds, they are super pretty and summery. They are both very happy flowers and bring a lot of colour to the grounds.
