BitcoinCash.. Let’s talk about it! I’ve only recently got into the the BCH scene thanks to a couple videos by David Bond ( Strangely enough ) as he is not originally known for Crypto. So the last week I’ve been trying to think of what I and other people can do to help grow BCH, Make it more acceptable in real world applications. I like what a couple places in Thailand are doing by accepting BCH as a payment method. So I’m trying to figure out what else can be done to help the cause. As a Web Developer I’ve been building Membership platforms for Online coaches / Yoga & fitness trainers, Adult membership sites. So I’m thinking of expanding on what I’ve built already to accept BCH. But the main goal would be to educate normal, Non crypto people about BCH & Crypto in general as I believe it’s still a very scary subject for many. I would love to get a conversation going on what we could do to help grow BCH #BitcoinCash

Hey MrGrumpy, (GREAT user name, BTW), just like you I recently started giving BCH another look thanks to Mr. Bond. (And another look at Nicky, but that's a different subject!) I used to ignore it as a coin attempting to shine in reflected light from BTC, but maybe it really will be "the coin the world adopts" once its features and advantages over BTC are better understood? His crypto videos are actually some of his best videos. I'm currently in the Philippines, and I wonder if there are places here that accept BCH like in Thailand? If we can simply spend the crypto without having to convert it to fiat that IMHO sidesteps a lot of problems, (KYC, taxes, etc.).
If you check the Bitcoin main app, they actually have a map with places that accept BTC & BCH. It’s pretty good. I’m in Bali and I can only see 1 place 😂 Looks like the Philippines have a lot more places https://map.bitcoin.com/?v=2.1&utm_source=WalletApp&utm_campaign=Discover
Neato! Thanks for the tip! I'm in Mindanao, and it's a bit disconcerting that BTC and BCH are accepted in a few of the more "sketchy" areas. Then again, some folks think ALL of Mindanao is unruly and dangerous. It's all relative, I suppose. I'm from the state of Georgia in the USA, and I'd rather be where I am now than in the bad parts of Atlanta.
