Something i have been thinking a lot about lately Career choices
Many students don't have much time to spend in career planning during their degree course. You may be too busy working to earn money to pay your way through university, or perhaps you are a mature student with a young family that you need to support. You may be too busy to regularly visit the Careers Service.
Choosing a career involves 4 main stages:
* Self Awareness.
* Opportunity Awareness.
* Decision Making.
* Taking Action.
Sometimes these stages will overlap and sometimes you have to return to a previous stage.
Self Awareness
The first stage of Career Choice is Self Awareness. This involves looking at your SKILLS, VALUES, INTERESTS and PERSONALITY and analyzing where your strengths and weaknesses lie.
This is important both in choosing the right career and also for success in applications and interviews where you will find many questions which test whether you have been through this process.
Opportunity Awareness
Once you have done some preliminary self analysis, the next stage is to gather information on the opportunities open to you. Many jobs are open to graduates of any degree subject.
Early in your course you should look at the Work Experience open to you. As well as allowing you to earn money, they may allow you to gain relevant skills and perhaps an insight into the types of job you are interested in, putting you at the head of the queue when you eventually apply for jobs.
You may like to enter Postgraduate Study instead of directly entering a job, or it may be required for a particular career such as law or teaching.
Here it may be important to apply early in your final year and to look at whether funding will be available to pay for the course or if you will need a scholarship.
Making Decisions
Prospects Planner helps you choose a graduate career. Of course, the other important part in making decisions is discussing it with other people. Friends, family and tutors can all play an important part here.
How to Choose a Career - Taking Action
This is the final process of career planning. It involves:
* Finding out about the employers that offer the types of jobs you are interested in.
Search vacancy database.
* Preparing applications and attending interviews.
* Perhaps taking aptitude tests and attending selection centers...
Be prepared for an interview
How to Prepare for an Interview: The interview is an important aspect to focus on in the job search process. Your CV and cover letter lay the groundwork of your application and secure you the interview. They give you a chance to shine and impress your potential employer.
Once you have received an interview call, you need to start your interview preparations. Thorough preparation will increase your confidence and help you improve your performance and job prospects. Lack of proper preparation on the other hand may lead to poor results.
If you have been offered an interview, the potential employer views you as hireable on paper, and now wants to meet you in person to further evaluate your qualifications and experience, and assess your personality, motivation, and communication/interpersonal skills.
You need to convey a good sense of who you are and what you have to offer, and discover if the job and organization meet your values, interests and skills.
Interview Preparation
1. Know yourself:
Review the CV and cover letter you sent for this particular job. Consider how you want to convey this information verbally and think of specific examples from your past experiences which highlight your skills, qualifications and achievements.
2. Research:
Find information about the potential employer and the position you have applied for. Use the Internet to find current information. A good research reflects well on your enthusiasm and the information you gain from relevant websites will help you prepare questions for the employer and give you a good sense of salary levels and working conditions.
3. Practice:
Anticipate interview questions. In addition, prepare and practice answers to possible questions. You can practice with a friend to get feedback on your verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Formulate a list of intelligent questions to ask during your interview.
4. Contact your references:
Reconnect with your references during the job search process so that they know what positions you are applying for and are aware they may be contacted in the near future.
5. Interview date:
Dress for success and bring along any documents or information you may need, such as extra copies of your CV and references. Arrive fifteen minutes prior to the interview and be friendly, respectful and positive with everyone you meet.
6. Follow-up:
After the interview, your work is not quite finished. You will miss a valuable opportunity by failing to follow up with an organization after the interview. Follow up with the interviewers and inquire about the status of your application if you have not heard from them within the agreed time frame.
How to Prepare for an Interview - Additional Tips
- Remember your interviewer's name and title.
- Ensure you know the employer’s location.
Go on a practice run so that you know how to get there and much time you need to get there...

Our sibling/s
A sibling is a random person with whom you must live throughout your childhood.
Unlike a friend or a lover or a spouse, you do not choose a sibling based on attraction or affinity. Unlike a parent, or at least a good parent, a sibling has usually not been devoted to your care and seeing you flourish.
Sibling relationships are authentic. Often siblings grow up in the same environment, share the same parents, and share common memories and similar experiences. ... Our siblings are our family tree. They are a part of who we are and that relationship is a shared history that makes this unique relationship invaluable.
Through the good, the bad, and the ugly– siblings are there with us through it all. It’s important to have gratitude for the special bond that comes with siblings, and to acknowledge the importance of such a lifelong relationship.
Siblings are your only enemy you can’t live without. Siblings that say they never fight are most definitely hiding something. They say that no matter how old you become, when you are with your siblings, you revert back to childhood.
The greatest gift our parents ever gave us was each other...
A smile is a priceless gift
It costs nothing, but creates much.
It enriches those who receive, without impoverishing those who give.
It happens in a flash and the memory of it sometimes lasts forever. None are so rich they can get along without it and none so poor but are richer for its benefits.
It creates happiness in the home, fosters goodwill in a business, and is the countersign of friends. It is rest to the weary, daylight to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad, and nature's best antidote for trouble.
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed or stolen, for it is something that is no earthly good to anyone 'til it is given away. And if in the hurly-burly bustle of today's business world, some of the people you meet should be too tired to give you a smile, may we ask you to leave one of yours?
For nobody needs a smile so much as those who have none left to give...
Bond of Friendship
It is only this bond of friendship that gives us a person in life that will never become greedy for anything.
They will always be active on finding something that can benefit their friends in one way or the other. We do not have bound to select our friends on any ground including caste, age, sex, creed or any such differentiation that exit within the society.
It is that a friend knows all the realities of his/her friend and helps each other satisfactorily on various issues they may be feeling stranded in. In general a friendship blooms when both the partners are of the same age, background and character but that does not mean people from variant background cannot be best friends.
There will always the bond of love between two people no matter what age group they fall in or which society they are from...
Wisdom with love
I think love Is like a bridge between beauty and peace that we can enjoy passively on one bank of the river, and the other joys that needs our action, on the other bank.
They include creativity, the joy of creating beauty and actively maintaining or even creating peaceful situations for our loved ones. They include also growth, personal growth, emotional growth, spiritual growth that we tend to obtain through sincere (prayerful) reflection about the challenges in our lives.
Ultimately the wisdom that comes from them and then of course the sharing of the wisdom in again creatively expressing ourselves. Self-expression and living a life of purpose are among the greatest sources of joy and happiness...

Dear friend
You learn more from failure than from success. Don’t let it stop you. Failure builds character. Don’t let yesterday take up too much of today.
Let others lead small lives, but not you. Let others argue over small things, but not you. Let others cry over small hurts, but not you. Let others leave their future in someone else’s hands, but not you. Because it’s not whether you get knocked down, it’s whether you get up.
I challenge you to make your life a masterpiece. I challenge you to join the ranks of those people who live what they teach, who walk their talk...

BCH the future
According to the latest long-term forecast, Bitcoin Cash price will hit $2,000 by the end of 2021 and then $5,000 by the end of 2023.
Eventually, Bitcoin Cash will a 21 million cap and no more coins will be produced. At this point, miners will instead be rewarded with a small cut of each transaction.
One interesting thing to note is that Bitcoin Cash operates on a scalable difficulty.Another reason why is Bitcoin Cash so low is because of the poor working conditions of its miners.
The economic throughput in the Bitcoin Cash network is at an all-time low. ... With the hash rate dropping by 3% since bitcoin halving, Bitcoin Cash miners receive only 0.05% of revenues from transaction fees.
BCH some more benefits…
* On-chain scalability.
* New transaction signatures.
* Emergency Difficulty Adjustment (EDA)
* Decentralized development.
Interesting Facts About Bitcoin Cash
* Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is a cryptocurrency created from a hard fork of Bitcoin. The fork occurred at block 478,559.
* Anyone who held and was in control of their Bitcoin private keys at the time of the fork automatically became a holder of the same amount of Bitcoin Cash on the new fork various exchanges also honored this ‘airdrop’ to their customers.
* At launch, Bitcoin Cash immediately raised the block size limit from 1MB to 8MB as part of a massive on-chain scaling approach.
* A Bitcoin Cash Visa debit card will be launched soon according to a tweet by Roger Ver on Dec 11th.
* Bitcoin Cash enables virtually instant payments with low fees.
What wallets support Bitcoin Cash?
Various desktop, mobile, and hardware wallets are available to store your Bitcoin Cash. BitcoinCash.org recommends users to use one of their featured wallets like Bitcoin.com’s online wallet, Coinomi, BitPay, Edge, Jaxx, Mobi, Copay, Badger Wallet, Exodus, Ledger, and Trezor. Alternatively, you can store your Bitcoin Cash on a paper wallet.
Bitcoin is the DADDY of cryptocurrencies. I certainly think that Bitcoin Cash has a future, but if it is trying to be ‘Bitcoin’ and continue down this same path that it’s on now, it’s not going to end well.
If you are a Bitcoin Cash fan, then you should try to convince the community that BCH is BCH… it can’t be Bitcoin. And if Bitcoin Cash continues to be an altcoin and not attack Bitcoin, then I don’t think there are any problems.
If people find BCH more profitable and appealing, it could take off, or if it turns out to not offer anything useful to the world, it could just die an unnamed death.
Predicting or commenting on the future of Bitcoin Cash is impossible...
Sincere growth gives wisdom
Times are changing, true humanity is growing exponentially, wisdom is growing exponentially.
Once the sharp inflection point will be reached, it will go fast and become completely unstoppable. And the discussion will not be any longer capitalism or Marxism; we will all be wise enough to truly enjoy the peace, joy and happiness that lies in wisdom and simple altruism.
So let us all look inside for awhile, find our soul, our heart and that sincere source of wisdom.
It feels good to be among the pioneers of the upcoming wisdom revolution...
Lockdown
I think many of us are experiencing a lock-down. I am not sure why they call it lock DOWN and not lock UP.
It feels a bit like being locked up in our own place. But still, my friends we can really make the best of it.
In the area around where we live, there may be a piece of beautiful nature. Or maybe a few trees with beautiful crowns? Or maybe just the amazing skies above our head.
If we get a bit stressed out about being locked up or locked down, this is exactly what can help us.
Just imagining a wonderful place in nature, and in our imagination, not only seeing it, but also feeling the breeze and smelling the air and hearing the birds, will give us an experience of peace and a certain happiness. What we imagine has the same or very similar effect on our moods like being there .So let us keep looking on the positive side.
We can take this as an opportunity to pray more, to meditate more, to strengthen our imagination, to appreciate the peace in our home and around our home more, to love more, to send some lovely messages to the people who may suffer more of the lock down than ourselves.
We can this opportunity to to enjoy the beauty of our own surroundings,to really make our own garden or street pristine clean and enjoyable to develop creative approaches to many things.
Imagine for awhile we are locked down, or locked up in paradise. And the time may fly faster towards the end of this pandemic...
The Tree of kindness
Let us together imagine that such a tree of kindness is growing, taking roots in your heart and in my heart, and then forming one stem and a magnificent crown.
Taking roots in another 10 people's heart, and still forming one big virtual stem and a superbly big crown.
Taking roots in a million people's heart,
and still forming one virtual huge stem with a huge crown.
By then how many trees of kindness would we have grown, the world would be a better place even if it's a little it makes a difference...
Thoughts for time
So important to take on and of some time and think about our aim in the short term, medium long term and long term. Best to write it down.
Why to write it down?
1. It will allow us to get focused. Think about a few rays of sunlight. If not focused they give a little bit of warmth. If focused through a magnifying glass: can light up a flame. Focus can convert our aim in to small flame that may give us light and warmth.
2. If we write down and read our aim, it will tell our subconscious mind that this thought is more important than the other 59 999 thoughts we think in a day...
Lessons to ease us
Most of the time, when we are more at ease, we can see the lesson we have learned in the toughest of times.
I have experiences like that too. I think all of us have. Just if we are in the middle of it, we can choose to fume and curse or try to learn a valuable lesson from it. It is all how we perceive it.
If we curse and fume we may inadvertently prolong the trouble, if we can take a step back and look at it from a bit of a distance, and be aware that no dark lasts forever, we can make the ordeal lighter.
Perhaps enhance a quick dawn with fine lights of an amazing sunrise...
How about religion
'It is allowed, Mohamed had multiple wives'.
That was in a time when women outnumbered men by huge multiples since men were dying in wars and huntings.
Now we are living in a different era. While it could be considered a noble and good thing to take care of a widow and multiple women in the year 400, this does not justify in any way a lust-driven instinctive poor and selfish solution to an ego driven selfish midlife crisis.
The much better solution to midlife is to make some of efforts, simple efforts to find true love with your wife, respect her more than anybody else in the world and not let her suffer in silence because of a misplaced male ego problem...
Positivity and Success
The most valuable experience of the successful and the 'great' is before they were famous and to read about their road to success is very interesting.
Not everyone doing exactly the same at different times will get successful. We read about the start-ups in a garage. They were indeed brilliant people doing the right thing at the right time in the right environment. The right time and right environment are essential ingredients of their success.
As long as we see these stories as a source of inspiration to be creative ourselves in our own situation, they can be helpful. If these stories create a huge desire to become enormously rich in a short time, making us unhappy as long we did not achieve that, they work against us.
While it is a reasonable thing to aim high in our life and to aim in the long term for greatness, let us not get lost in the standards social media try to push down our throats. I think positive thinking and a positive attitude towards life can make a significant difference in quality of life. But we have to use the wisdom of the ages, not to be happy in a far away future when we think we will be rich and famous.
We need to apply some simple wisdom to our current life and try to happy in the here and now...
Ignorance of Poverty
Ignorance of the basic principles of life is maybe as bad a form of poverty, one of the worst kind of violence is poverty.
I risk being called a dreamer, but I am quite sure that this ignorance cannot last much longer.I am pretty sure about a vast upcoming wisdom revolution in which selfless service to one another becomes the most understood and most practiced source of happiness throughout the world.
If humanity would miss out on this, humans may just destroy their own existence as a species...
Practice Empathy
Empathy requires imagination and the more we practice our own imagination, the stronger it becomes.
I encourage everyone to practice every day imagining something very nice happening in this world, that would change it forever. It will boost your own sense of gratitude and peace and who knows.
If enough people imagine daily something very nice to happen to the world, it may become a reality sooner rather than later...
The hand that gives is blessed
Tonight I was looking at my right hand. It looked wonderfully alive. I could flex all of my fingers and then each finger individually. And then.
I thought a hand that can love, a hand that can give, a hand that can pick up garbage, a hand that can work. I was, for a few moments, so happy to have a hand like that. But then I thought of the hands of my uncle, that were folded on his lap.
They were icy cold and by now must be nothing more than dust. I was thinking about the millions and billions of hands that have been and are no more. My hands sooner or later will belong to this category, but while they are still alive, I will use them to give.
To give something, to write something, that can help others, that can inspire others....

Time passed by so she decided to show her family how costly it is too support her and her children, that they need a father in their lives. Eventually the family agreed, the both got married.
They lived together with the children happily no complaint, the children loved their step father as their own...
Disappointment with this generation
My son is 12 years his older brother has a mobile so 1 day we attended a wedding close friends.
I was busy one side and the children together, one of the boys looks around the same age as my small son asked my big son for his mobile.
And the worst happened he told my sons I want to show you both something that he watches all the time. There it was he opened a porn site, immediately my sons both snatched the mobile closed the site and told him go watch with your parents it's not for our age. Now is the time we educate ourselves when we grow up there will be plenty of time to do adult things and nobody will stop us as we will be adults. And then my son told him to go get lost and never speak to them again.
So when we reached home the children waited for the father to step out and came to tell me the whole story at that moment I felt absolutely proud that I am doing a good job raising my sons I don't need no awards to know that I am a good mother.
Their behavior is my reward...
The joy in kindness
I think more than 90% of the people have experienced the extreme joy that lies in performing simple random kind acts and I think that almost all of these 90% of the people in the world have thoroughly enjoyed that joy.
The most logical thing to do, would be to get more and more of that joy, through more and more kindness and love. But we are so inundated, flooded, overwhelmed by the media with strong messages that happiness lies in being rich and famous and in purchasing all things shown in the endless ads.
We are shown the comfort of private jets, of super expensive cars of a life in luxury. And surely these things bring comfort. But the biggest joy, the truest happiness still lies in kindness, service, helpfulness.
I think 90% of the people who know the joy of service and kindness, still are deceived by the media. While the comfort we find in material wealth is pleasant and worthy of obtaining, it tends to become problematic if that is our priority.
Because upon achieving one level of wealth we do enjoy the comfort but do not experience true joy, true happiness and then are led to believe that our wealth is not enough...
Success is counted sweetest
By those who ne'er succeed.
To comprehend a nectar
Requires sorest need.
Not one of all the purple host
Who took the flag today
Can tell the definition,
So clear, of victory.
As he, defeated, dying,
On whose forbidden ear
The distant strains of triumph
Break agonized and clear...
Allah (God) I make dua (pray) to you give my mother a long healthy life as I never got to say my goodbye's to my father I know death is final but when it's time don't let my mother be in any pain and alone her loved ones must be by her side she's the world to us we need her please forgive my parents bless me with their sins and grant them Junnat (heaven) I don't want anything for myself I trade it for them... Daddy I miss you mummy with all my heart I love you...
