Who is also a fan of McDonald's out there or Mcdo as we fondly call it here in the Philippines...? When I was too busy to cook for the boys during weekends, Mcdo was the next thing on my mind. So, McDonald's has been our second kitchen during the weekends. One box of 8 pieces of chicken would cost 440 Philippine pesos or 8.8 US$. I just cooked rice, because 1 cup of Mcdo rice was expensive at around 22 pesos or 0.25 $. And as you know, Filipinos eat lots of rice, my 2 boys could eat 3 to 4 cups each in one sitting. Me, I can eat 2 cups at most...😋 Plus, they also order desserts like McFlurry with Oreo and Coke Mc Float and big McFries. So all in all, I could spend about 1200 Phil peso or $24. This has been our routine every week before the pandemic, but now that we're all home and not so busy, our spending spree on eating McDo has been over. And the boys' gaining weight has also trimmed down. Before they were becoming overweight and looking mature than their age. Now that they mostly eat home-cooked foods with veggies and white meat, they've just become slimmer and looking younger, so am I... 😆😃 How about you guys?
