It’s Sunday and yet I won’t skip a visit to my backyard vegetable garden. This is our bitter gourd plant and we made a ‘house’ for it. We’ve wrapped the fruits with old newspaper to protect it from insect bites which cause fruit rot. We were able to harvest a few of it in previous days and we cooked it. Best to mix it with eggs in the morning and we also gave our neighbors some of the fruits. Sharing is caring in our small community.
