*L3 Architecture : they Gave me Paper but Forgot to Teach Me * The story is real...this is what I am living right Now I am a 3rd Year Architecture student at the University of province of Madagascar I don’t have the means. That’s the first thing. No computer. No internet cafe. No model materials. At home I only have a ruler, tracing paper, and pencils. No computer for AutoCAD. No money for an internet cafe. When we have to print a render, I watch others print. I hand in my boards by hand. For models, you need foam board, glue, cutters. It costs money. I do what I can with recycled cardboard. It’s ugly. But it’s all I have. We were never taught the basics. The hardest part is not the lack of materials. It’s the lack of teaching. They give us PDFs. They send us online courses. They say "figure it out yourself." But no one showed us the basics. No real technical drawing. No construction. No method. Result: we arrive in L3 feeling incapable. We draw lines without understanding why. We submit projects in fear. I sleep little. I doubt a lot. I restart the same paper ten times. Sometimes I think it’s my fault. But I am still here. With a ruler, tracing paper, pencils, and the shame of not knowing. I come to class. I submit my boards. I try. Because I don’t want lack to decide my life. I want my degree. Even if they gave me paper, but forgot to teach me. --- If my story touched you, a small tip on Reead cash
