My friend Dara (@Dara12) raised an interesting point, and it got me thinking... Is it possible to find true love if you're actively searching for it? My personal opinion is no. I think that if finding a partner becomes your goal, it changes the way you act and the way you see other people. It's only when you stop searching that you see people for who they really are, and they'll see the real you. If you fall in love while you're not being real, and while you're seeing people through a filter of what you're looking for, it can't be real love. To take it even further, I think the strongest foundation for love happens when people are close friends first, because then you're both being real and honest. And when looks fade, the bond is still there... #love #relationships #life
