(Part 6) And that was our strange weekend of filming a gruesome ghost story in a haunted hotel, with weird things happening in real life to us at the same time. I can't remember the last time I had that much fun on a working weekend... #Writing

(Part 5) That same night after filming the last scene, around 1AM, we all packed up and went to bed. About 10 minutes after getting to our rooms there was a knock at our door. It was the creative director, asking if we had seen her phone, she couldn't find it anywhere. So we formed a search party and checked all the places we had been that evening and all the places it could possibly have been put near to where we worked. Nothing. Then one of the crew decided to check the…
(Part 4) The next day the producer and I were sitting outside in the sun discussing the next scene, and the rest of the crew were filming inside on the other side of the building. While we were chatting we heard a lady call his name and we both looked up at the same time. There was nobody nearby. I thought someone was playing a prank on us, and laughed it off, but he got up and went inside to find out whose voice it was. The crew and the hotel staff all denied calling him,…
(Part 3) Three of us (my partner, the director and myself) were sitting at a table outside in the courtyard after midnight, working on the script for the next day. The hotel reception, dining and bar areas were locked up and dark, and our table was next to the reception room windows. Suddenly we heard a loud "thud" from inside - it came from the reception room behind us. But there was nobody in there. #Writing
(Part 2) Today, according to some of the hotel staff and guests that have stayed there, the wife still wanders the corridors late at night, and weird things happen in the room where she died. We stayed at the hotel for two nights while filming, and each person on the production crew had something strange happen to them that gave them the chills. I don't believe in ghosts, but I can't explain some of the things we saw and heard. #Writing
(Part 1) Last weekend my partner in crime and I filmed a ghost story at an old hotel in a small town. I can't go into much detail until the short film has been released, but I can share the behind-the-scenes with you guys... I'm going to post this in reverse so it reads like a story. According to the urban legend, a happy couple owned the hotel. One day something went horribly wrong and it caused a chain reaction, resulting in a number of deaths at the hotel. Including…
I've enjoyed reading posts from others lately, talking about why they use Noise and how they feel about the updated rules. Personally, I'm not one who talks much and I don't often photograph things that happen in my life (preferring to experience moments rather than photograph them). Noise allows someone like me to still enjoy an online social network as someone who engages with others' posts more than I post on my own profile. I write when I have something to say, I'm…

I have another short story up on Publish0x for those of you who follow me there. In each short story I try to see life through the eyes of someone who's very different from me. It challenges me... To expand my writing skills and to expand my empathy. #Writing
Watching the lightning storm outside and listening to the thunder get closer and closer... It's one of my favourite sounds. I read a post from a Noise friend the other day saying that the sound of rain on her roof used to frighten her. Where I live storms are rarely life threatening, and I feel happiness when we get them. But for others around the world, a storm could mean something very different... Perspective.
I'm posting this again. Friends could you help me get this seen by the Noise admins? I really think it'll help us all, a lot. @noise.cash can we have a floating menu bar, or a "to top" button, so we don't have to scroll all the way back up again? #NoiseFeatures
Today I sold all my LTC (Litecoin) and bought XRP (Ripple) in the dip. In theory I should be able to double my investment if XRP goes back to climbing the way it was before the bloodbath...? ADA (Cardano) is still my long-term hodl. I have high hopes for this one in the future! If you haven't bought any yet, now's a good time to look into it. #Crypto
So far I'm still okay with my decision to buy more XRP... Well done to everyone who owns CAKE - did you even feel the dip? It was the only coin in my portfolio that stayed green during the bloodbath. #CryptoTrading
