Rain doesn't make you sick!
As a child, we are always being told by our parents to stay away and look for cover when it rains. This has been passed on for several years and they were right about it. Rain water is not as pure as you think. As water evaporates into the atmosphere they can also bring viruses and bacteria with them on their way up.
The main thing that our body uses to fight these viruses and bacteria is our immune system. However, temperature drops when it rains and our immunity system weakens when it reaches below the optimal temperature of the body. There are also some factors that causes the our immune system to weaken that makes us more likely to catch disease from rain water or staying under the rain. Which are the following:
Stress.
Being emotionally down.
Poor sleep.
Eating unhealthily foods.
Staying indoors most of the time with no physical activity.
In conclusion, rain doesn't directly you sick. It is the viruses and bacteria that came with it together with your weakened immune system due to temperature drop and the one's I mentioned above.
So, it is safe to go and enjoy the rains once in a while but not for long periods of time since that is when we are most vulnerable.
Some Interesting Rain Facts
Rain drops aren’t actually drop-shaped. They’re shaped more like **hamburger** buns!
Rain doesn’t always reach the earth. Their is a phenomenon known as “**Phantom rain**” which occurs in extremely hot climates. Raindrops evaporate before hitting the face of the earth.
Rain has a smell. Well, technically not really. This smell is produced by plants and bacteria on the ground when rain falls. This smell is called "petrichor".
The place where the least rain happen is not somewhere on the desserts. Instead it is on Antarctica which receives just 6.5 inches of rain or snow annually.
Rain doesn’t start off as rain. Clouds are made of freezing-cold water droplets and tiny crystals of ice. As they fall in the earth, the warm temperature melts them which make them into tiny droplets of water which we then refer to as rain drops.
Not all raindrops are made of water. Some planets have their own version of rain. In Venus for example, the rain is made of sulfuric acid or methane. And would you believe that on a planet 5000 light years away, the rain is consisted of iron!
On average, it takes an approximate of 2 minutes for a rain drop to reach the ground from the clouds.
An inch of rain can measure around 226,000 lbs in an acre of land. A billion tons of rain falls on the earth in every minute!
I earned $1600 today!
I have been away from crypto currency. I lost the motivation to participate in airdrops, bounties and all that kind of stuff that I usually do 3 years ago. It all started back in my college days, I spend most of our free time playing computer games.
There, I met some of my schoolmates who are into crypto for a month and is already earning descent money. After observing them, I familiarized myself and work my way on getting the hang of it with minimal help from them.
Well, the rest was history. We we're gaining from $20~$40 per week. That was the height of airdrops. Where 90% of airdrops turn into real money.
I earned an estimate of $2,000 dollars in 2 years of airdrop and bounties. I lost the will to keep participating by the time I bought a motorcycle. And since I am still studying, it is affecting my studies.
So here is the present, a year after I graduated, I had a work. I find myself surfing the internet looking for some other ways to earn as my salary is not that much.
So you might ask, what's with the title?
Well, when I was about to sleep last night. I remembered something about UNI. I am a member of a forum and that was a hot topic there. And it hit me, I remembered that a month ago I swapped one of my token there (which I made $100 btw). So, I jumped from my bed fired up my pc and did some research about UNI and what was the requirements.
My heart went pounding after I say the "Claim 400 UNI" this was worth ~$1,600!
Today is my lucky day!

Money Heist (La Casa de Papel) in real life?
When you think about "Money Heist" you may think that this is just a fiction and would not be possible in real life. But there have been many bank robberies that are successful that may make you think that real "Money Heist" may have happened before.
Almost like Money Heist.
First of all, creator Alex Pina said that the series is not based on a real story. But many fans compared the said drama series to the heist of the century.
**The Great Buenos Aires Bank Heist,** as a fan of La Casa de Papel. I can confirm that this heist has the most similarity to the drama show. Perhaps this is where the authors had their inspiration.
**The Great Buenos Aires Bank Heist vs La Casa de Papel comparison**
The **Buenos Aires** heist robbers was not after the bank safe in the bank. They were after the valuables from jewelries to cash and other things. Those that were deposited by the rich. **La Casa de Papel** on the other hand has almost the same vision. They we're not after the printed money. They were about to print their own money.
Both **Buenos Aires and La Casa de Papel** robbers doesn't want violence. Although Buenos Aires robbers did not use real guns. But you get the point.
They we're both surrounded by authorities and buying time. In the show, they were buying time to print more money. While on the great heist, they were buying time as they are cracking open the safe deposit boxes.
They all were perfectly planned. Both of the show and real life heist took years of planning and preparation. And was executed by some of the great robbers and great masterminds.
They all escaped through tunnels. The real-life heist was pretty crazy. Similar to the show, they both dig their tunnels but to think that it can be done in real life is pretty crazy. And the real-life money heist's tunnel was perfectly hidden even after they scaped.
Both were discovered because of their partner. In the show, the mastermind fell in love with the inspector leading the operation against the robbers. While in the real life heist, one of the robber's wife snitched the group when they got into a fight which led to the capture of most of the robbers.
In total, it is estimated that $20m dollar was taken from the Buenos Aires Heist, while in La Casa de Papel they stole almost a billion euros.
There are more to this maybe I will make a second part if I can. I just want to share this to you since I find it very interesting that this has been done in real life.
Anyway, thank you for your time. I hope you enjoyed it. I am still not that good in writing and composing articles but I assure you that I am giving my 100% every time. See ya!

The Cat with no Eyes and Hair
I am not a cat person, but I do like playing with them. But there is this particular breed that I am not a fan of. They are the Sphinx cats, they are quite creepy due to their physical appearance but some movies that I watched back in the days played a part of this creepiness. This specific breed is usually a pet of witches and other scary creatures in horror movies. Anyway, while I was surfing the web I saw this post and I felt very sorry for the poor guy.
The poor guy's name is Jasper. He was born as a normal cat but after a corneal ulcer on his right eye, it was removed in 2013 and a few years after his left eye faced the same fate and was also removed. Now the poor cat is totally blind.
This sight lead me to rethink my judgement towards cats and this one in particular. I may myself a cat as well. I mean, I guess it is time 🤗

Vampires in World War II?
Are you serious?
This is based from actual events and is very real. Well, sort of.
There are some times that the US Government coming up with a plan that are pretty absurd but surprisingly effective. This happened for real and was planned and executed by the CIA itself after the Japanese Invasion (WWII) in the Philippines.
How did it happened?
After the Japanese invasion, the members of the Filipino’s People Army became increasingly marginalized even after the war has ended. They we're known as "Hukbalahap" and they were a pain in the *ss for the American Forces in the Philippines and since the said country is a valuable asset in the US during WWII, CIA sent their one of their best officer Edward Lansdale to deal with the problem.
He is an expert in physiological warfare and found some major weakness in the Philippine Rebels.
Hukbalahap's weakness.
Edward took the advantage by exploiting Filipino's belief of "aswang" a mythical creature who sucks the blood of its victims which is somewhat an equivalent of "vampire" in the US. The Huk's have are based at the hilltop position in Luzon, a well very tactical position for defense against the Filipino-American forces.
So, one night Edward executed his plan and when a patrolling unit was on their way, they silently grabbed the last man in the pack. Punctured his neck twice to make it look like a bite from "aswang" and hang him upside-down. After draining all the blood from the poor guy, they returned to the trail and set the body up. When the huks found out about the body, they we're terrified.
The very next day they fled and abandoned their camp which were a very valuable position. This was one of the start of their downfall. And by May 1954, the huks surrendered and the rebellion was put to an end thanks to the help of the "American Vampires" of the CIA.
**Conclusion**
I think this is one of the best war tactics I have ever known. Although I feel very bad for the man who was hanged upside down to drain his blood. That is pretty brutal. Anyways, desperate times require desperate solution I guess.

Learning Spanish
Recently, while I was enjoying watching a Netflix series "The Money Heist" when I realized something. I was busy reading at the subtitles rather that watching the actual scenes and stuff. That is why, out of boredom and this particular realization I decided to try and learn some Spanish language myself since the series that I'm watching is in Spanish.
After a little "googling" and some tutorials I settled for this particular application from play store.
I believe this is also available in IOS but it is readily available on Google Playstore. It is free to download and use but to have more access to more features and bonuses you'll have to pay little bit of money to help you learn the language of your choice.
So far, I am learning a little bit and I really like how this app is teaching you every step of the way. It's like going back on being a baby and learning all those new words for yourself.
In conclusion, I really love this app. And I will have an update about my progress. This is a good step if you really want to learn a new language. This may not be the best option but this helps a lot since you can have a short lesson anytime you want. So if you want to give it a try here is a link to this app on Google Playstore. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.duolingo

America Bombing the Moon.
**Why bomb the innocent Moon?**
Are you aware the United States Air Force planned to detonate a bomb in the moon?
That's right. During the "**Space Race**" where US and USSR went head-to-head on who's going to achieve the first spaceflight capabilities, the US Air force came up with a plan on detonating a nuclear bomb on the Moon's surface in 1958. This may sound ridiculous but this kind of action at that time was needed since USSR took the lead when they successfully launched an artificial satellite known as "Sputnik 1".
But why "Space Race" is a big deal you may ask? Well, having something successfully brought to space is a show of power and advancement of technology. This would be a huge moral booster to the opposing forces during the Cold War.
**Project A119**
The bombing of the moon was known as "Project A119" and was kept as a secret for around 45 years up until in the year 2000 when a former executive of NASA, Leonard Reiffel revealed the project who also spearheaded the said project.
**Why it never happened?**
This project was cancelled since the people behind the plan feared that the public would not like that kind action.
In conclusion, we can all agree that this was the best case scenario. Who knows what would happen if this project was executed. He moon could have been bombed to dust or loose from it's orbit or whatever they call it. This could affect our sea water as the moon play a part on our tides. I am personally glad that this is just a part of the history book.

Tom and Jerry (Facts & Theory) Part 1
We all knew this show since we were a child. I mean, who doesn't know this funny series. Created in 1940, it is an American animated franchise and series of comedy short films we all loved until today.
I've made a bit of "googling" for you guys about some facts that you might not know about this famous show.
FACTS
Jasper and Jinx was their original name
Yes. That's right. On the debut of the show, the cat (Tom) was originally dubbed as "Jasper" while the mouse (Jerry) was named as "Jinx" and was seriously being considered by one of it's creater Hanna.
What do you think? Which names do you think fits?
The Lady in Tom's House
We all seen this lady in most of the episodes. She is known as "Mammy Two Shoes" since for almost all of her appearance only half of her body is shown.
But did you know that there is an episode where her full body was shown including her face? Below is the only time that a clear image of her body is shown in this particular **episode**. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saturday_Evening_Puss
7 Oscars Award
The Tom and Jerry cartoon won 7 oscars in total from it 13 nominations. Pretty amazing for a cartoon show right?
They almost stopped after the first episode
This would've been the biggest mistake of MGM Studio as they thought that this would never catch the attention of the viewers since Cat and Mouse cartoons are pretty much "common. So after the first episodes the creators, Hanna and Barbera worked on other non-cat-and-mouse projects.
After a year since the release that the show gained some popularity both Hanna and Barbera went back on the working with the series.
Tom walked on four legs on the first few episodes
Tom had some reworks done to make him more workable character. On the first few episodes, he was more of a real life cat walking on all of his feet.
But later on the show he had some changes and then walked like a human.
This worked well for the show since Tom uses some tools to catch Jerry.
Fan Theories
Some people say that Tom and Jerry are actual best friends. Tom doesn't really want to eat Jerry but has to keep chasing him so that his owner won't replace him with a cat that actually want to eat Jerry. This actually somehow makes sense although Tom goes too far at some times.
What do you think? Is there more facts or theories you might want to share? Please leave a comment and thank you for your time.
Have a great day!
Hey everyone! I just want to congratulate myself for reached a small milestone. I reached 10 views on my articles! Thank you so much!

They don't shoot laser with their eyes or fly like superman. Some are born with special abilities, some achieved their status by years of training.
Here are few people that have superhuman abilities.
The Battery Man
**Slavisa Pajkic**, from Serbia has a superhuman ability to withstand high voltage without getting hurt. A normal person can only withstand 50 volts while the battery man took a whopping **20,000** volts without getting injured. That is ****4,000**** times higher than an average person. Madness! He has multiple world records one of which is a full body cover of ice for almost 2 hours straight. Read more about him **here**. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wim_Hof
That would be all for now. I will try to make a part 2 of this content soon. Thank you for your time. Have a great day everyone!
Are you normal or special? Pt.1
I was about to sleep today when something came up with my mind. Am I normal? I mean, what is the global average of people doing normal stuff like how many hours do they sleep, physical characteristics and etc. So, with that. I did some little research and this is what I came with.
Here are some of the global averages:
**Marriage Age**
Men = 29.5 Women 27.5
**Married Adults**
80%
**Single**
50.2%
**Sleep**
6.8 hours
**Age**
29.6 years old
**Right Handed**
85%
**Left Handed**
25%
**Red Haired**
0.5%
**Brown eyes**
79%
**Blue eyes**
8-10%
**Amber or hazel eyes**
5%
**Green eyes**
2%
Are you part of the norm or do you somehow belong to the rare group?
Are you also wondering what would a green eye might look like? Here is one I found.
This might be edited but green eyes are real. Read it **here**. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eye_color
That would be it for now. I might post some more if I get some free time. Thank you for your time. Please leave a like and/comment if you like my content and subscribe for more if you'd like to see more content like this. Have a great day!

Swallowed by a crocodile?
I know this is quite impossible to happen for the most of us. But there are some unlucky people in the world that gets attacked by crocodile every year. Some make it through and survive but some are not as lucky as those survivors.
Crocodile attacks usually happens during their breeding season. They can be very aggressive on everything that moves even against their own kind on some occasions.
Did you know?
Crocodiles are as dangerous as they are in land. They can run as fast as 18 kilometers per hour on land. Crazy right? On average, human can run up to ***45km/h*** it is considerably faster than the crocodile's but panic can play a big role.
What would happen if you are swallowed whole?
Now, this may sound absurd. Why would a crocodile swallow you whole? Don't they bite you into pieces and eat you after? The answer here is no; they dont really need that since they have a unique ability on how they digest their prey. They attack and drown they food into the water and swallow them whole and they do eat something else to help them digest. This one's interesting; they also swallow a freaking **rock** ladies and gentlemen. That's right, apparently this help them crush their victim with the rocks inside and the acid in the stomach to the rest.
Mother nature can be beautiful and interesting. Some creatures have some unbelievable things that are known and still unknown. But this definitely is a heck of an ability. So the next time you wander around with crocodile infested river you might want to bring some big guns.

Going back in time.
We can all agree that **time** is one (*if not*) the most valuable thing in the world. You can only experience a moment once in your lifetime. There is no going back. Even how hard you try to replicate the same feeling, situation, the excitement or disappointment about everything that you enjoyed/suffered.

Let's talk about a specific time in your life that you would like to go back and change that you think may improve your current status right now.
Comment down below and let's talk about it.
Good morning mga ka quarantine. Di pa din nakakalabas. Naglilibang nalang muna sa internet. Anyway, pa support naman po sa mga pinag gagawa ko dito. Maraming salamat.
Last Man on Earth
Most of us have been trapped inside our house due to this pandemic and we all know how boring that situation is. From my experience the first few weeks was "pretty okay" since even before the pandemic I don't really go out that much. So, I spent 80% of my time playing offline games since I don't have a powerful PC for online gaming. Now came the day that I get tired of it and I thought of something new to spend my time with. This is when I came across this TV Series "**The Last Man on Earth**".
I've searched it on YouTube and it was a very interesting series. For those of you that doesn't know about this show. As the title suggest, this show is about a man who survived a virus breakout of some sort that makes the victim very sicks and blood comes out from every hole of your body. Pretty gruesome when you think about it right? Anyways, it is not shown how the virus actually works.
Going to back to our main character. On the first part of the season he is on the look out for more survivors and almost lost all his hope. When he is about to end his life, something unexpected happened. And that is for you to know. So go ahead and have a look for yourself. It is 4 season long and about 18(?) episodes per season.
Thank me later lads.
