The version of Brave that I use in linux is no longer supported, so I have to change to another more updated version, and the change implies that I must use the libc6 2.25 package or more, but the closest package is 2.27 and It is only available for lubuntu 18.04.5 and I use 16.04 lts. Switching turned out to be a headache because no matter how many different methods I tried to upgrade from 16.04 to 18.04.5, neither did the do upgrade, nor the sudo dist upgrade, nor anything else. I had to install a persistent live usb with 18.04.5 to test the brave there and if it works there. You may be wondering why I am so interested in brave, and it is for 2 reasons, in the current version that I use I received rewards, but as of today I get a message that I will not be able to receive more rewards unless I update the browser.. .so I have to do it, and for that reason I have to change my operating system. And I use it because of the enormous security it offers, I like that. These days I will have to migrate all my data, so my presence here will not be very evident... the process of migrating extensions, apps, passwords, web links and everything else is annoying, I really hate it, but I have to do it if I want to continue receiving brave ads to earn extra money, and I hope they stop being foolish and leaving previous versions of brave obsolete to receive rewards, that is very unfair....
