HOW TO WIN FRIENDS AND INFLUENCE PEOPLE I read this book as a teenager and it had a profound impact on my life. It still bugs me that the very large majority of people prefer to engage in monologues, don't ask questions of the person in front of them, and when they do, they often don't respond to the answers in any meaningful way. It sounds so simple but very few people seem to have the knack of it. Or perhaps it's lack of care. Although I now suspect it's a lack of confidence. I read this book years ago and it's been a great read since then

  I like it, although I see him as the good angel of books, I prefer Robert Greene's 48 Laws of Power, who is the devil of books, it's more my style.

    48 laws of power is kind of brutal some laws there if you ask me are too extreme, but some are cool
