It’s taking awhile to get to this stage, but I believe I have TRULY arrived. I’ve learned to take things day by day, not to expect anything, and not to worry or be upset when family or a friend decides to not respond or get heated. I can’t do anything about those situations and so I just let it be. It is what it is. Some people dislike that saying, but it really is the truth. Don’t get me wrong, I still have issues from my past but I work on them everyday. That’s what we need to do because if you don’t, they tend to creep back up on you at the worst possible time.
