At times love fades away like the sunrise Love is one of the most important things in human existence. Love occurs at all levels and at all points of our life. Love happens among family members, friends, spouses, relatives, humans to animals, and many other forms of love. To love is great but to be loved in return by the one we love is everything. At times we express our love towards people but we actually might not get the same love in return and that is normal. Not everyone would love you for who you are. It might just be that the person admires and likes you which may be due to one of two personalities ascribed to you.

What could be the cause of all these?. Is it that love isn't real anymore? Or just that those experiencing true love got it somewhere special where others couldn't reach?. To some people, it always remains a mystery when they see couples that are of old age still love themselves and are having a nice time together. What could have been the secret to a long-lasting relationship like that? After doing some research online I came to realize that love comes in two forms. Passionate love and companionate love. It depends on whichever one you wish to go for, that would surely determine if it would fade off so quickly or would last longer. Come to think of the word passionate which means driven toward a strong feeling or belief. Having passion towards someone or something and the more the passion increases, it builds some kind of love like reflection among each other. Passionate love is known to fade over time. **Reasons why passionate love fades** Passionate love would always drive towards a particular reason or purpose of loving something. Be it emotionally driven, sexually, or socially driven. And when all these attributes are not present in the life of the person we love, the actual reason to love begins to reduce and fade off gradually. But as for companionate love, it is a love built upon a strong pillar of companionship. Companionate love never fades off but continues to grow stronger as time passes by. When we love someone for who they are then we would always have to build a relationship that continues to grow without any particular reason.

Apart from other attributes of love, one thing that builds around companionate love is the fact that a partner would not only rely on the reason to come together or what they were passionate about. They would make sure to create new things as a partner, something they have never done before, they would involve themselves in some activities and experiences that are new to them, like Horse riding, skydiving, cart racing or having a tour to the museum and things other things they haven't done before together like date nights, vacations or even in the bedroom, putting yourselves in positions that you are experiencing surprise or felt surprised from the reactions of your partner. **Conclusion** It doesn't matter whether you are experiencing a passionate type of love or companionate love. What matters most is building the relationship, making it stronger and more importantly realizing the worth of being in love. Passionate love can be bridged over to companionate love when you give it your all but do things you haven't done before. This would always continue to stand as a support to love and never make it fade away. Let's try building companionship love among ourselves regardless of who and where we are. Be it our friends, family, siblings, partner, workers, bosses, or just anyone around us.
