Finally, I'm ready to take on Splinterlands. I've been very scared to venture into this because of the amount of time needed to master these cards but I've put in the work. I've had false starts and postponements. Now, I'm ready to battle hard and win more. Here, my Splinterlands journey finally begins.

Congrats. It may actually look intimidating first, but you get the hang of it quickly
I was actually scared because of the amount of card the game has got. I think I'll get better with time.
Just jump straight into ranked games and be ready to lose at least half of the matches. You don't actually lose anything when you lose a match. Only gain experience
Won't I drop in the rankings by losing games?
Oh sorry I forgot about that because i'm usually at bronze, so don't lose much anyway haha

Three years? I thought all these P2E started just this year. Wow!
No splinterlands has been developed over four years and beta with 3. It is one of the first and there are lots more on hive going for the past few years. With 3 second free transactions it is the perfect place to build games and the social media network attached to the chain makes it easy to build community around it.

I don't think it's too late to get in by any means but as you say, the scariest thing is probably the time required to master the game and play the daily quests each day. It will most likely be well worth if for those that do find the consistency in it though.
