When Haaland bursted into limelight in 2019 I was one of those who didn't see him as any big deal. I felt anybody could rack up ridiculous numbers playing in some Norwegian or Austrian league. When he joined Dortmund and continued his streak I felt he was lucky and will soon fall back into the category of regular footballers. I wasn't totally impressed by his physical built as he looked more like a target man than a proper, clinical striker. I've watched this dude recently and he has cleared all my doubts about him. How can a guy as tall be that fast? He has scored for his team both in games they dominated and the ones they were dominated. His performance for his country makes it even more compelling. I think it's high time I agreed that Haaland will be the dominant striker of the next 10 years.
