Though Arteta hasn't completely revealed what transpired between himself and Aubameyang, his impassioned defence of his decision has shown that this has a lot to do with ego and control. The fact that Arteta indirectly threatened to leave the club speaks volume. Aubameyang is a flamboyant guy. He loves his fast cars and his array of flashy sneakers. Everyone isn't a fan of that lifestyle and it can become a problem if your boss believe it's affecting your output. Despite this a compromise still has to be reached. Whatever it is Auba' has done he doesn't deserve to be cast aside and ordered to train alone. He single handedly carried Arteta's Arsenal on his back when it looks more like Arteta will be sacked. And the likes of Saka, Martinelli or Lacazette haven't done half of what Auba' contributed to this Arsenal.
